   Reservations were easy (thanks, OpenTable). Greeters sat us immediately, and at our asked-for window-side table. Our server was responsive, helpful, but not overbearing: there only and exactly when we needed him. The _only_ problem with the food was having to make a choice among so many excellent dishes. And as always the lava cake dessert is worth saving room for. My only - very minor - desire for a difference is to wish that more of the wines were available by the glass.

   EVERYTHING WAS GREAT ESP. THE SERVICE. WE HAD RESERVATIONS FOR 6:30 PM BUT WAS THERE AT 5:30 PM AND THEY ACCOMODATED US.

   Chart House is one of our favorite dinning spots. Excellent quality food, cooked to perfection. Wait staff very professional, helpful and friendly. This visit, the swordfish and stuffed shrimp were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked. Really enjoyed the view as we had dinner. Will return soon.

   We usually have a very enjoyable experience at Chart House, but we had to leave a disappointing review this time. Our prime rib was very over cooked even though we asked for pinkish medium. It was even so past well done to the point that most of the rib was too tough to be edible which should never occur for a prime rib. Maybe because we sat in the far end of the dining room, we didn’t have any water refills nor much service during the dinner. The bread and entrees took much longer than we had ever experienced. Luckily we happened to dine during the Alexandria celebration with fireworks and could use that to forget about the mediocre experience. We had planned our anniversary with our family there, and clearly they didn’t care much about that. I guess we’ll let some time pass before we decide to frequent Chart House again which is a shame since we had liked to stop by frequently and bring our friends here. Otherwise would have recommended as a nice location, good food and ideal ambience. Sorry, far from that!

   We celebrated my husband's birthday. Our waitress Ashley was awesome (very professional and friendly). The food and ambiance were great. I would suggest making reservations in advance. It was very crowded when we arrived. Also, another suggestion would be to make a green vegetable as a regular part of the meal. I noticed that some of the entree items only had mashed potatoes as the side dish. For health reasons, I couldn't just have potatoes only (due to the carb and starch). I had to order creamed spinach as an additional side. Lastly, there need to be more dessert choices.

   Great view, reasonable prices (for the area), good food and presentation. Server, Charles, was helpful and attentive.
