   We celebrated our anniversary with a hearty lunch prior to a matinee at the Rep, and couldn't have been more delighted with our experience. Our server Darin was attentive yet not overbearing, focused yet relaxed. The soupe à l'oignon gratinée was an excellent starter for a blustery late winter day and we decided to split the BBQ Combo. The chop was prepared in Greek style and was basically perfect in every way, and big enough that we ended up taking the half rack of ribs home. The complimentary brownie à la mode was outstanding. All in all, a wonderful celebratory meal out, something that has sadly become a rarity. We WILL be back!

   Ribs were tough, no fall off here. Very pricy for what you get. Appetizer, Dinner, 2 drinks each & a shared dessert over $200. Will not be back.

For clarity, our menu specifically describes our award winning competition ribs as “NOT fall off bone.” Unsure why you expected complete opposite? Your check for 4 people was $318 pre tax and tip (we don’t profit from those things) $159 per couple (not $200). It included top of the line premium items.. 2 French Onion Soups, Basil Hayden Old Fashion, 3 Margaritas, 1 Old Reg Fashion, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Prime Filet Mignon 10oz, Bearnaise, Au Gratin, Slaw, Twin 6oz Prime Filet Oscar Style, Au Gratin, Slaw, BBQ Baby Backs 1/2, Au Gratin, Slaw, BBQ Chicken 1/2 Au Gratin, Slaw, Key Lime, Sundae.    If you’re looking for good service and great tasting food in just the right, peaceful atmosphere, Carson’s has a table for you. If you’re looking for somewhere that has all of that and you get to literally “chow down”, then Carson’s is the place.
