   Went to Carlo and Johnny tonight with one of my best friends and had a great dinner! Our server Chris was as phenomenal. He was attentive and professional with a wealth of Ruby restaurant knowledge but knew when let us do our thing. The food is what I expect from a Jeff Ruby restaurant and failed to disappoint again. Not a regular at Carlo and Johnny but after tonight’s dinner will consider. I will request Chris again as my server and would recommend you do the same.

   This was our first time branching out to another Jeff Ruby restaurant. We usually go to the Precinct. There were many positives and a few drawbacks in comparison. Positives: - Our server, Paul, was amazing. He was very personable and funny. - We liked sitting on the patio and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and patio area was great. - This location offers sushi, which we did not get this time, but could be a selling point for other customers. - Offering 2 different sized salads was nice. Drawbacks: - The steaks were the same price as other locations, but did not come with a side and salad. Everything was a la carte, so you get less for your money. We spent more at this location than we usually do at the precinct. - my husband's steak was over cooked. He ordered it medium, but it came out medium well with very little pink anywhere (some pink around the bone, but he would have preferred some pink throughout). After receiving my feedback, the assistant manager called me and rectified any issues we had with our visit. This company does great business and we are fortunate to have them as a staple of our community. We will return to Carlo and Johnny in the future!

   Lobster was average at best and lobster stuffed branzino was poor. Very unusual for this otherwise excellent restaurant. Service and ambiance were as good as always. Follow up from the restaurant on my concerns was excellent and much appreciated. Thanks to Grace for the call and discussion.

   Excellent way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. special of filet and lobster was just the right size and siperb quality of food

   As always food and service was impeccable! The bread came to the table fresh from the oven! Went for the tenderloin and lobster tail special great price and exceptional service.

   Wonderful atmosphere for a delightful dinner. Cozy and comfortable, with top notch service and excellent food. Great for special evenings as well as business dinners. Highly recommend.

   Wonderful experience! We typically dine at different Jeff Ruby restaurants 4-6 times a year. Last night was the best service we have ever received. Paul made our experience so memorable! I brought 4 people with me who have never been to any Jeff Rubys. Paul was funny, knowledgeable, and professional. He even took us upstairs and told us the history of the house! 10/10 !

   We had a fantastic dinner in the elegant upstairs dining room. The food and the service were outstanding, we highly recommend it for a special evening out.

    Steak, lobster, mashed potatoes and asparagus was delicious. The Freddie salad was average. We went for my mother’s birthday. At the end of dinner she was served a birthday dessert. I don’t know what it was. Not at all tasty.
