    A very odd experience with our initial server Niki. We Started great and ordered Niki’s recommendations. After I food was served she didn’t return. We ordered a bottle of wine thru a different server. Berkley, the manager came to apologize, but it was a very odd experience after a recommendation from a local. Disappointed!

    We went first on a Thursday and sat in the back section . The noise level there was minimal. We went last Saturday. The noise level was so high everywhere in the Capo that we had to shout to be heard.

    We dined at Capo South Boston on a Wednesday evening, drawn in by the warm, social ambiance which is great for groups or casual night out. Vibe was promising but the dining experience didnt live up to out expectations. We started with the arancini, which were solid though nothing particularly memorable. However, things went downhill from there. After the appetizer arrived within 15 minutes, we waited nearly an hour for our pasta dishes to come out (after the appetizer) I got the Maine Lobster al Limone, which is good but my husband got the Chicken Parmesan which was served burnt, charred to the point of being inedible (as pictured, the room is dark so the picture doesnt do justice). We politely asked it to be remade, only to be served from the same batch of the chicken. another burnt one. When we voiced our concern, the server insisted “thats how we make it” which honestly felt like gaslighting rather than genuine customer care. Frustrated, we asked to swap it for a simple spaghetti and meatballs, cuz they cant mess that up right? Sadly, that one came out as bland and underwhelming as well. By the time it arrived, my husband already lost his appetite from the overall disappointment. While our server check in occasionally,it was clear that she was avoiding our table for most of the experience, likely because she knew how delayed the kitchen was in getting the food out, and later, because of our disappointment with the burnt chicken parm. no manager stopped by, which felt a missed opportunity to address a poor dining experience. Overall, Capo has a nice vibe with their lighting and bar front, but the slow service and inconsistent food made for a frustrating night. Might go back for a drinks, but definitely wont be back for food.

    Each entree was so good, tasting completely homemade. Reasonably priced for these days. Ambience pretty too. Music kinda loud to talk w a big group.

    Food was very good. We went on a Tuesday specifically for the gluten free night- really good gluten free italian is hard to find. It was quite loud though and the service was slow

    100% recommended! Food was great and all ingredients tasted fresh. The meatballs were amazing and the pizza crust was perfectly thin and crisp. Thanks for the great service!
