   Absolutely delicious brunch. Food came out fast. We stayed almost 2 hours because the ambiance was great and it wasn't busy on a Monday morning. Fabulous service and overall great vibe. We had the cowboy breakfast and the scramble. Both were magnificent. Shared the yogurt and granola, which was amazing! Excellent Chai tea and iced tea, too! This place is a step above in every way!

   I’m concerned about the hygiene of putting utensils on the wood table after wiping it down with the same towel all afternoon.

    Arrived on time w high top reservation. Was told I reserved outside (it was a windy, cold night). Assured hostess I have a high top reservation to which I was told, “no, you are on the patio,” and without allowing me to pull up so to prove my reservation, guides us to the cold patio. Was guided to a table on edge of patio, away from the only heater and brought two glasses of tap water. It was so cold and windy, we could not keep cloth napkins on the table without holding them down. Knowing it was SXSW weekend and a last minute reservation elsewhere would be almost impossible, we zipped up our winter jackets and tried making best of it. No one came out to check on us until same hostess said, “you can move to that (a large table adjacent to our current table)table since it’s closer to the heater.” No help moving everything from one table to another, no apologies for us being the only ppl outside in the cold… just indifference. We move everything ourselves to new table and try to make the best of it, laughing this could not get worse. Then a man (mgr? server?) comes out and barks, “you can’t sit there. It’s reserved for a party of 8. But who knows if they’ll show it is so cold out here.” I let him know hostess told us to sit here and ask where should we move. He said “that’s already reserved for a party, you can’t sit there” giving no direction. Hostess who had us move and sit there, is standing near him, and says nothing and offers no help. I say “I think we are just going to leave,” and they turn around and close door, not a care in the world they mistreated customers and were losing a table. We leave assuming we’d be ordering ubereats or grabbing a slice of pizza given how busy everywhere is on SXSW weekend and go to a couple places with no luck until Perla’s went out of their way to fit us in and we had the best meal imaginable not only because of the amazing food, but the caring, exceptional service at Perla’s, which we did not get at Cafe No Se.
