   Butcher & Singer is a 5 star restaurant in my book. The food and service are truly excellent and I can't say enough about this establishment.

   I had a 7:15 reservation and did not get seated until after 8 PM. It took way too long to have our meal served and the food was just mediocre for the price and reputation. I will not be returning.

   Wow the food was great, had surf and turf. The best steak. Ricky our waiter was really good and friendly. Just what you need, he knew his menu and would want him on our next visit. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Oh yeah the stuffed hash brown. Killer.

   Excellent food and service but we were at a 2-top next to a service bar- very loud and for the price- there should be a barrier- I don’t appreciate looking at a service area for a $400 dinner

   Excellent Drinks, Food and Atmosphere. The staff are all nice and friendly! Bathroom was nice and clean. Complimentary coat check Love it!

   This was our first time dining at Butcher and Singer, and I booked it for my husband’s birthday. What an amazing experience! The art deco/jazz age decor transports you to another era, and the ambiance is ideal for a date with plush seating, sweeping ceilings, dark paneling, giant chandeliers, romantic lighting and jazz music playing in the background. The food was amazing, and the Baked Alaska is a new favorite. Our server, Brian, made the experience extra special. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Philly now, and I’d highly recommend it for a romantic dinner, celebration, or nice evening out. Compared to other steakhouses in Philly, the prices are very reasonable.

   The food is always terrific as well as the service. The restaurant is very quiet so you can enjoy yourselves. You can always count on this place to be delicious.

    We had Rickie as our server. He was awesome. I surprised my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day at this place it quiet possibility could become a new tradition. They had an amazing vegan plate for me which I would go back for. My boyfriend had the American wagyu with fra gras. Rickie guided us amazingly through the night with our options. I would only want him to take care of us when we go back.
