   Our server named Calvin was superior and pleasantly answered our numerous questions regarding the menu items. I would definitely recommend Calvin to be your waiter.

   We are frequent visitors of Bristol’s. Our service last night was very slow. I get that it was Easter, but it was extremely slow with not a whole lot of tables left at dinner. We went to go find our server to let her know we were ready for the check. I was also told by the busser when asking for a cup of coffee that it was not his job. For paying over $600 service was terrible.

   My sister and I visited Bristol for Easter and was excited to order from the special Easter menu, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to past visits. The complimentary biscuit has changed—it used to be buttery and well-seasoned, but now lacks the same appeal. The Pink Blossom cocktail was just okay. I ordered the Caesar salad, which had overly large lettuce pieces. The Miso Glazed Sea Bass was delicious but the portion felt too small for the $72 tier. I added the crab cake, which was a letdown—it wasn’t jumbo or lumpy, and didn’t reflect the quality I’ve come to expect from Bristol. My sister’s vanilla bean crème brûlée tasted too eggy and had minimal crisp topping. However, my carrot cake was outstanding! The biggest drawback was our table assignment—Table 30 is placed right next to the sideboard where servers congregate. It made our meal feel rushed and like we were dining in a service zone instead of a relaxing setting. Overall, a bit of a disappointing experience compared to past visits, especially for a holiday meal.

   Went for Easter brunch— service staff was friendly and fine but the food was barely edible and overpriced. Ordered a filet — medium rare— came out SUPER dry and too salty; sides were fine— understand that it’s a seafood restaurant but getting the temperature right in steak preparation is basic.

   We waited awhile to be served our water. Steak ordered medium and was brought well done. Scallops weren't seared to have a nice color it was white when served. When the well done steak finally was replaced by medium the waiter slid it off to my plate where juice of the steak spilled on my pants. This was unacceptable!

    Calvin was exceptional! He was attentive, gave great suggestions, personable but not overbearing.
