The Bow Valley Ranche is located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail SE, in Fish Creek Provincial Park, just follow the signs for Bow Valley Ranche.

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

Sit down beside the massive fireplace in the Grand Salon or enjoy the covered wrap-around veranda during warm weather. Enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails or weekend brunch. Reservations are recommended. Please note that we do not take reservations for the patio.

                                                Sat on the veranda for an afternoon lunch. The food service and atmosphere were wonderful. I tried the set menu lunch with the pork tenderloin and is was excellent. A great escape from the busy city

                                                The service and staff are amazing as always, though the menu has changed, went during the week and they took steak frites completely off their menu, I was told it was on the brunch during weekends but it isn’t. I use to go out of my way for it but overall the food is good and service amazing.

                                                This was our first visit to Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant. Our party of 4 enjoyed both the Standard and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Steak and Eggs and the BVR Burger with Garden Salad. We started with Mimosas and a Continental Pastry Plate. It was all delicious with generous servings. Aidan, our waiter was hospitable, knowledgeable and efficient. The only slight disappointment was the noise level. But it’s a popular restaurant. Next time, we may request a table on the veranda.

                                                This is most likely our 11th time here. Our server, for the 2nd time, so glad to see him (Richard) is one of best servers around! Lamb was very very good, we do feel the lamb shank should come back. The porkchop was soooo good, tender, great portion with delicious sauce and the fluffiest potatoes! The beet salad is the best in the city, hands down. Skip the pasta, dry and bland. Bring back ravioli! ❀
