   Great atmosphere, cosy and welcoming. Food was good, a bit on the pricey side for what you get. Would recommend to anyone visiting Berlin and in the area.

   Es hat uns gut gefallen, urige Berliner Kneipe mit gutem Essen. Am Fenster war es etwas kühl und zügig, aber als wir den Platz gewechselt hatten, war alles bestens.

   The food is very good , but it was very hot and they don’t use air conditioning .

   We were looking for a genuine German pub that looked the way restaurants did in the past. Maybe we found exactly what we were looking for in Bötzow Privat. Here I imagine it has looked the same for 100 years, a task I cannot confirm when large parts of Berlin lay in ruins after the war? Anyway, here goes the one who wants to experience the old, the genuine and the rustic. The food is tasty and well cooked without reaching heavenly heights. On the other hand, the price is moderate and this makes the overall impression good.

   i love this place and it's my go-to for out of town guests because of the quaint atmosphere and the german food. it's a very small menu but everything is great!

   Everything was accurate, very friendly, polite, helpful staff with a nice smile made us comfortable! Even this was our first visit, we felt welcomed and had a wonderful evening. Several kinds of beer we tried were all excellent, and the salad, meatballs, cheese noodles and apple strudel were so tasty and good!! So glad we chose this place to visit all the way from Japan. People keep coming in and the place is always full, so you should definitely make a reservation! We would love to visit again!

   Nice classic Berlin pub in a nice setting in the old Jewish section of town. It's far enough away from the touristy area around Brandenburg Gate so you don't get the over-priced food and over-crowdedness of those restaurants, but it's close enough (2 stops away from Brandenburg Gate by SBahn) to be convenient if you are doing some sightseeing. They have an extremely limited menu (only 5 dishes total, 2 of them vegetarian), but it includes some classic Berlin dishes, which is a nice change from the touristy Bavarian-style German restaurants in other areas. Not a bad place to take visitors to the city!
