   This was one of many visits to the Boat House: the service is superb by experienced and friendly staff, the food always memorable and the view of the Sakonnet can’t be beat. Consistently dependable in all these considerations. All in all, our favorite restaurant in the Newport area.

   Great experience. As always, reservations were a must -- Monday at 1:30 and the restaurant was packed. With our reservation, we were seated immediately, while people without one had to wait 15-30 minutes. Our table was a bit too close to the one next to it. Felicia arrived at once, provided us with water and explained the daily special. We were served our drinks and food very quickly and efficiently. The shrimp fritters are great -- a slightly different take on the classic "bag o'donuts" clam fritters from The Mooring. The taco special was very tasty. The sandwiches just keep getting better, with fish, beef, chicken and vegetarian options to allow plenty of choices. Portions are very generous. The fries are among the best in the region.

   We celebrated our anniversary at the Boathouse and it was wonderful. We both had the filet which was delicious- tender & cooked to perfection. Our server, Nancy, was so nice & very attentive. Overall, a wonderful evening.

   Even with it being a very crowded Easter Eve, the service and food were great.

   I made a reservation for 4 and we showed up but no record was found because I had made it for the following month! They were so gracious and accommodating and were able to squeeze us in within 10mn of arrival. When our main courses were majorly delayed, Cara the manager came over and apologized for the delay and comped us a round of drinks - above and beyond Forbes service!! Food was delicious and we had a great time. We will be back on the day i originally made the reservation and look forward to hopefully eating delicious food outside. Sad that we only discovered it senior year. Thank you for the great hospitality and service.

   We celebrated our 21st Wedding Anniversary and were treated like VIP. It was the best experience! The staff is awesome, the views are spectacular and the food is amazing.

   Everything was wonderful! Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was very detailed when describing cocktails and food choices. The atmosphere was beautiful! Can’t wait to go back in the summer and eat outside overlooking the water views.

    My wife and I dined there yesterday. Waitress forgot to bring second glass of wine. Asked for no onions on salad and got onions. Server took my silverware and when the main course came, I asked the server to bring me silverware. Didn’t happen so I had to grab some from another table. One of the most disappointing times at this restaurant. We purchase gift cards from the Newport Restaurant group every year. This was not a pleasant dinner.
