   The restaurant is a pleasant walk from downtown Annapolis taking you across a draw bridge overlooking marina's. On a nice day it is a very nice walk both to and from if time allows. The restaurant is convenient to access and has a beautiful bar as you enter. We dined as a party of 5 and sat in our own private room. It was quiet and nice however didn't have any views of the outside. They do offer outside seating but it was late in the day on a Spring day so we voted against it. In hindsight I think we would have sat outside. We ordered appetizers to start and the very nice server suggested calamari. We went with that and the green fried tomatoes. The green friend tomatoes were done well with light breading and surrounded by fresh corn, the calamari was described as having some peppers mixed throughout, however unfortunately there was mostly peppers and not much calamari. We ordered the Pizza, Chicken Fingers, Two steak meals and one house made pasta dish. The Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well however the one side of spinach and the other meals asparagus was minimal, make sure to ask for additional sides. The pizza was done in a roman style with a very thin crust. I love that style, but it's not for everyone. The pasta was homemade and the ingredients fresh however was very bland, to be fair it wasn't the dish the server suggested, but I gave it a try anyway. Maybe my fault. The purpose of the review is to provide some insight to future diners to make sure to ask about the food and also consider where you would like to sit beforehand. We didn't do that as much and take the blame for both missteps.

   Large restaurant with pretty nautical decor. Waiter seemed very busy but friendly. Crabcake was adequate. Seafood risotto was excellent. Short ribs were good. Salad was fresh. We waited too long for water to be refilled. We were not rushed out on a Sunday evening in April

   We started with a glass of wine. One arrived in a wine glass, and mine arrived in a rocks glass. I was informed that they were out of my selection, so they served what they had and asked me to make another selection. I did. When my wine arrived it was in a wine glass and I was informed that they did have my original selection after all. No 86 board for the staff? Really????? Swing and a miss. Strike one. We had truffle fries for a starter. Nice presentation with a basket of crispy fries, topped with grated parm was visually very appealing. And they were hot! The aroma of the truffle oil was a nice tease. A couple of minutes after the awesome fries arrived, our main course of Shrimp and Grits and Short ribs arrived. Oops! Poor timing/communication between the server and kitchen. We all know who times the orders. It's not the kitchen. No they weren't slammed at 5 pm on Sunday. Needless to say, we didn't finish the fries because we wanted to eat our main course while it was still hot. Bummer. The entrees were presented nicely, clean edges, warm plates, and quite tasty! The food was really nicely done. Kudos Chef! Swing and a miss. Strike 2. Ample parking, easy access in and out. Very nice open atmosphere. Clean inside and out, and nicely appointed. Love the layout of the restaurant. The food was quite tasty! The service was lacking. Luckily the food quality overshadowed the service. Hopefully the next time we dine there (and we will) they will be more buttoned up. You need to up your service game folks. It is a service industry after all.

   Great spread, plenty of options. Almost everything tasted great, service was great. Expensive but worth the treat on special occasions.

   What a beautiful restaurant! And the buffet was very good. So much delicious food! The ambience inside is spectacular, decorated so beautifully. And the upstairs "deck" reminds me of a ship. Service was very good. And best of all, free parking. Thank you for a lovely day in Annapolis.

   Great Sunday brunch. Spacious dining area and buffet was easy to navigate. Wonderful selection of foods including oysters, shrimp and smoked salmon. Carving station with prime rib and ham. Also, a very nice selection of pastries. Service was exceptional.

    Cocktails were sweet but tasty. The cocktail menu covered all the basic spirits with creative syrups. We had the Chesapeake oysters - they were wonderful! Shared the short ribs pasta - outstanding flavor and quite the comfort food - very large dish, perfect for sharing. Also added a side of Brussels sprouts - I was happy they were not too greasy or too sweet. Nice atmosphere, not too just and friendly service.
