   Lobster Mac 'n' Cheese was amazing. And chocolate fondant was the icing on cake. Staff were extremely friendly and made an effort for my wife's birthday.

   Took my mum there to celebrate my birthday (thanking her for my existence). The service was excellent, and the ambience was great. We went for the bento boxes and they were delicious and filling. My mum doesn't eat beef, and the kitchen was happy to swap a beef dumpling with something else for her, which is the type of service and flexibility I'd expect from an establishment like this. I only have a little upset with this place and that is the use of coriander. It's a very personal thing, I am that 1% of people who hate the herb and they use it in quite a lot of dishes, which I didn't expect. I am returning with friends at the end of the month and I will be sharing a lobster M&C with a friend - I hope there will be no coriander there!

   The whole experience was brilliant. Well looked after by the maitre’d, waitress but more especially the chef Daniell. He made an exquisite meal bringing all the flavours of the Pacific rim into delicious 12 course chef menu!

   the food was excellent and the venue has a great fell to it. There is a great choice available and the fusion within each of the dishes is excellent.

   Great atmosphere even though we went early and the restaurant wasn’t full; and delicious food! Love the Dover sole!

   Staff are great and welcoming, however the value for money is very poor. Nearly £400 for 4 and the portions were small. The sides could be bigger and maybe with the cocktails - make it less about the drama and more about the value? However as I said the staff are great and this is the second time I’ve been. I wouldn’t recommend though due to value

   After being seated in a tiny booth we asked to get moved and the manager happily coordinated. The decor in the place is sub par but the overall ambience makes up for it. Good food would recommend the Poke but probably won’t be returning anytime soon.

   I was a bit disappointed with my last visit at Black Roe, the presentation and the quantity of food is not the same. But the Shake n bake has always his reason to be on the menu.
