   This is one of the best steak houses around. Favorite meal is the Campfire Feast for two. Wife loves the prime rib and I like the filet Mignon. I get the larger 8 oz and ask for a baseball cut. It’s a taller/thicker version. Erin is the super great manager and we have grown to love Carmel as our favorite server. She has a great personality… makes sure that we are happy… and just makes dining there a truly pleasurable experience.

   Service was superb. The prime rib sandwich was quite tender and juicy, great flavor. Restaurant appears to have been remodeled and is much lighter and cleaner.

   We had received an email about their lobster shrimp sirloin special for $19.64. It did not disappoint.

   Sad to say but this was one of the last few restaurants my wife and I frequented and enjoyed going to however they are becoming like all the rest. The last several times the biggest issue was terrible service followed by food mistakes. We really used to enjoy going out to dinner but not so much anymore. Prices seem to be skyrocketing and the quality of the food and the service has been taking a noise dive. Food has been served at different times instead of together, meat has been cooked incorrectly, having to repeatedly ask for the same things over and over because they forget, salads being brought out with your dinner , beverages remain unfilled, waiting for checks ECT and on and on. Something that used to be very enjoyable has become an expensive frustration. So sad. I hope it comes back some day.

   We have a wonderful lunch with our teenage boys. The food was delicious and was ready in under 10 minutes. Sadly we didn’t have room for dessert but will try next time.

    Megan was super friendly and efficient. Drinks were great, steaks were tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Just as good as the high end steak houses at very reasonable prices. Wish we had one in the Palm Spring area.
