   Bill's is okay for brunch, although we are still unhappy that they no longer do the Easter Brunch buffet. The eggs were cooked perfectly and everything was served hot. the server was attentive and quick. The only problem is that there is not enough for children. There is no lemonade or apple juice, for instance. There is no ranch dressing to dip chicken fingers in. They just have limtied their offering to make it difficult with 2 children ad\nd that is why we rarely go there.

   My young family of 4 dined here on a Saturday evening while on a stopover in Roanoke on a longer road trip vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience in general. The wait staff was amazing and the service was great - they took great care of my youngest daughter regarding some food allergies she has. The bacon-wrapped scallops appetizer and the chocolate tort for dessert were the stars of the show for me - absolutely amazing. My only disappointment with the experience and the reason I wasn't able to give 5-stars is the fact that my $50 8oz filet, which I had ordered medium-rare, was woefully overcooked with only scant trace of any pink hue to the meat. I am not the type to complain to the wait staff (likely not their fault) or ask to send something back, so I powered through the well-done steak and made the best of my meal. It still tasted good after all, but just not cooked to my preference unfortunately. A meal with 2 apps, 4 entrees (1 of those a kid's menu entre), two desserts and 4 or 5 cocktails totaled over $300 before tip, so come prepared to spend some money. We would dine here again on a future visit to Roanoke.

   We sat outside and the seating was great. The weather was also perfect. Our waiter was super nice and helpful with our choice of drinks. The food was also delicious. Great experience!

   Our first visit and the service, food was phenomenal. Looking forward to our next visit. The manager came over to ask how we were doing and if the food and service was good!

   We were celebrating my birthday. They acknowledged it early on and also treated me to a free dessert. The service was impeccable and our mixed drinks and dinner were delicious.

    This was our first time visiting Billy's after having cancel our Valentine's Day celebration. We had requested a less traveled, quieter, and cozy seating for our evening if possible, and our table could not have been any better. My girlfriend ordered the raw oysters and I the tomato bisque for our appetizers, and both were excellent. For our entrees she ordered the yellowfin tuna with vegetables de jour and risotto, and I ordered the crab cakes with cheezy smashed potatoes and the herbed risotto. Both of our meals were prepared to perfection, served hot and fresh, and plated very nicely. Our server was very attentive, yet did not interrupt our conversation or our evening in the least. We both decided on the creme brulee for dessert, which was served with fresh sliced strawberries and blueberries on top. The ambience, service, libations, meals, and desserts were all excellent, and provided us with a very enjoyable, much needed, and greatly appreciated date night. We will certainly be visiting Billy's much sooner than later!!
