   Service staff was exemplary and very personable. We had a menu issue where my customer wasn't aware what they were ordering. The wait staff rushed additional food out, and even gave a free item to offset the customer's own error. Great recovery - and very appreciated service!

   Have been going to Biff's for many years as it was always reliable with a nice decor, perfect menu and excellent service. This was our 1st visit at the new location and Biff's continues to offer all of the above. The new room with the tray ceiling carries on the theme of the old site with some subtle upgrades. The menu still has typically bistro-style offerings and has a slightly different approach to wine offering with a short list of house wines on the dinner menu and then separate wine list that seems a little shorter than what I recall with the former one. I ordered a la carte and my partner opted for the Prix Fixe. My French onion soup was excellent, my Boeuf Bourguignon deeply flavourful and rich, and we shared a piece of carrot cake for dessert which was dense and loaded with nuts and topped with a lovely icing, kind of old school. My partner had the fig and caramelized onion tarte for her starter and it came with a nice little side salad. She judged it excellent with a lovely puff pastry and and a filling which she really enjoyed. Her lamb duo was very good too. Service was almost perfect with the only issue being a delay in settling our bill due to a demanding customer in our section occupying our server's attention. As is generally the case these days, the prices seemed a bit high but then this has become the norm and given the quality of the room, food and service I suppose I'll eventually get used to it. Another common practice is presenting your bill with the tip offering automatically calculated after the tax (a big no no for me) and yes, while you can override this, it is an unnessary irritant. Nonetheless, we were very pleased with our evening and will continue with our regular visits to Biffs.

   It was my first time and I will definitely be back! The wait staff was amazing and the food was fresh and really good! Really enjoyed my lunch there

   Old Fashioned was great. Wine (Chardonnay from Niagara) was great. Both really good. Caesar salad and beef tartare were both great. Steak frites (10 oz sirloin) was underwhelming, game day ribs were very good. Service was uneven and slow. Drinks order was taken at the same time as the food order and there were separate servers to deliver drinks and food (so you’re not delaying with your server when the food arrives.).

   Great spot. Jessica was very dedicated to make our expanding party work. The service was next level. Appreciate the accessibility- first class including well maintained excellent washrooms. Great place - everyone in our party of 11 left very happy. We will be back.

    My husband and I went to Biff’s Bistro for his birthday and were so pleased! The service was great, the food was excellent, and the space was comfortable and fashionable. We now recommend this restaurant to everyone and are excited to return!
