   It was my wife’s birthday. The hostess kinda blew the surprise that we had extra guests in our party to my wife. She’s apologized but didn’t seem very sincere. As we’re waiting for our drinks at the bar. A guest walks up just before HH ended and wanted a drink with tequila in it. Instead of the bartender recommending a drink she just kept giving her the menu to her to read. As we’re waiting to get seated our server (can’t remember her name) came over and said hello. It seemed like we were being rushed the whole dinner. The first round of drinks she took my friend wasn’t ready. When the server came back with our drinks the server made my friend wait because she wasn’t ready to take her drink order. She said I tried to take your order but you wasn’t ready.. When the chef started to cook dishes were stacking up. The server would take a couple dishes but not all. So I started putting the dishes on the floor. I had no where else to put them. Not one person walked by to pick them up or ask how they got there. When we would ask for something the server would just keep walking instead of standing there and listen to what we needed. I must say it has been some time since I’ve been to this location and it definitely shows it has changed. The walls were definitely dirty and bathroom trash was heaping over. For the area and amount of money spent in they definitely need to step it up.

   It was over all good, the chef was great service was consistent and the food always great had a good time

   The atmosphere was too many bright lights . We told our waiter one person had a shell fish allergy so no one received our shrimp appetizers

   We waited half an hour to be asked for drinks. The restaurant had one table served and no one waiting. Waitress said no one told her we were there. Horrible. Food was good but way overpriced!!

   Benihana isn’t what it used to be. Food is over seasoned portions are getting smaller and smaller. I feel like they just hire anyone to cook. The soup was so salty no one at the table ate it and complained to the waitress.

   Came here for a birthday celebration. Was good service and food was great but as people have said even with a reservation expect a wait. But one thing to note: The server at the end didn’t ask if we wanted our green tea and ice cream that comes with our meal selection. And I noticed the other table across from ours they weren’t asked either. It was annoying I had to go find our sever and ask and she said “normally people ask about it”. Uhhhh no. I’ve come here to this exact location for many years and they always ask the customer if they want it at the end. She just brought our check and walked off. So I feel like this is a way for the establishment to save money. Also I was slightly annoyed that we signed up for the Benihana rewards and we never received the $30 off birthday certificate. But on the + side it was a nice meal and a good chef.

    The food was very good, but the wait service was terrible. I understand it was busy, but we were basically ignored by the waiter. Our drinks didn’t come until the food was served, and water refills didn’t happen until we were about finished with the meal. We enjoy the community dining experience, but the waiter couldn’t keep track of what group ordered what and we had to correct multiple issues with the bill. Some food that was ordered was never brought to the table, and it had to be removed from the bill as well. For a $400 dinner, I think it’s reasonable to expect a smile and maybe make sure our water is topped off once in a while during the two hour meal. We likely won’t be visiting this location again.
