   You always expect to wait a little for hibachi but our group and the group next to us sat for 1 hr before a manager came over to let us know that a cook would be with us in 3 mins. It was another 20 minutes before we even started dinner service. Mr Lee was sssigned as our chef. They were clearly under staffed and it was reflected by the our chefs energy.

   Chef Cool was awesome. Made dinner so much fun!!! He was the only chef that actually put on a show and really interacted with us. I saw a lot of other tables where there was not a lot of interaction and the chef just cooked nothing else so felt blessed we got Chef Cool! He made my daughter’s birthday dinner a blast, he had us all laughing and ensured we enjoyed ourselves. Food was good, high priced but we really came for the show so it was worth it.

   With reservation confirmed it took 20-25 minutes to sit our group in a table…even with 7+ tables open/available. We received our drinks and went through 2 rounds of drinks (approximately 40 mins) before a cook showed up. To be completely transparent, management did come to our table and apologized and “comped” some of our drinks; but overall bad impression for the host party in recommending Benihana for dinner. In addition, 4 people ordered filet and we got regular steak…it was definitely not filet. I’ve been here many times and they always excel so I’m counting this was just a “one off” day being Monday. : (

   When I made reservation I noted that we had a birthday. Was excited to celebrate a birthday and saw other tables getting sung to. After our meal, our waiter asked our guest if he wanted ice cream and he declined So they didn’t bring him anything or sing happy birthday. They also messed up some of our food order.

   Well first is was my wife birthday and so it took a hr and a half just to be seated and another 30 mins just to order. With it being our first time going so we was ask any special day to anybody and my chef just said happy bday and was pretty much quiet while he cooked our waiter was taking so long to bring back food and drink that the meal was cold about time you got the food and drinks water down. Yeah it was a bad experience to where everybody at my table felt the same way

   Our Chef, "Mr. Lee" was outstanding. This was the place that granddaughter asked to go for her celebration. The staff did not disappoint with great food and lots of attention to the birthday girl.

   Long wait for the chef to come to the table. No “tricks” done. Seemed poorly prepared- had to ask staff to bring him eggs, sauces and more chicken. My son didn’t get his meal until everyone else had been eaten as chef forgot to do his chicken.
