   Food was great, as usual. Chef was friendly, entertaining and professional, but he did not perform as many funny antics as we are accustomed to at Benihana.

   Always a great time at Benihana. Wonderful service. Waiting area was crowded because the reservations were running behind. Perhaps it would be helpful to limit tables to 1 1/2 hours so that people can get seated in a timely way.

   First time going on a Sunday for lunch. We went at an off time being 2pm so it wasn't busy. Our server was a little pushy and or just seemed to be in an over all rush. Our salads came out later than everyone else's and the soup tasted very off, as if it was the bottom of the barrel/old. The cook was good, but you could tell he didn't want to be there. I noticed he had different tricks than I had seen in the past - this was a positive. However, he did cook the items differently, from the way he cut the veggies to seasoning, lack of flavor. I know a gentleman at our table made the comment he, "does not like sesame seeds" - odd thing to share in the middle of cooking and while others are joining you, but I wonder if that impacted the chef. Manager on duty was very helpful when it came time to closing out my check as I had several promotional gift cards that needed to be manually entered. She was swift and polite. I asked for a to go cup for my ice tea as I only drank half of my first one and they brought me a second one. The Bartender was very kind and friendly as I felt more comfortable asking him for a to go cup over our server.

   We have been going to various Benihanas for decades, including at this location. They are always consistent in their service, food quality, cleanliness, and value and our most recent experience was no different. We were a group of 8, four couples, coming from the Chicago lakefront, Orland Park, Saint Charles, and Rockford areas - meeting in and around Schaumburg is always a convenient area to congregate and this Benihanas location has great access from I-53/290. Our group gathered in the bar an hour before dinner for cocktails and received great service from our bartender Mathew who was prompt and professional in accommodating our drink requests. Our server Angel was also on point; friendly, professional and always there when you needed him. He also went above and beyond accommodating our request for separate checks for each couple which was not as easy as it sounds since we were sitting guys on one side and ladies on the other. Thank you again Angel, we really appreciate you sorting that out for us. We will of course continue to frequent Benihana's in the future, especially since some of their competitors are getting lazy when it comes to the above mentioned criteria - I'm looking at you JMK Nippon - Rockford.

   It was quite nice, the waitress was extremely nice and the manager, Michael was exceptionally polite and helpful with my requests. Thank you for a nice dinner.

    Very slow and the manager was so disrespectful another customer had called the police over the bill lots of headaches in this location, not worth it at all
