   The restaurant was understaffed, but The chef, Cal, was great. The food was also delicious. The low point was the manager’s limit of one, green tea per person. The bill was over $200, and she worried about the cost of tea in a Japanese restaurant? Really ? It left a bad taste after a good meal. The family next to us ordered tea and gave it to us to get around the silly policy.

   Our reservation was for 645pm, we were seated at 655pm and our chef came to the table at 8pm,, and that was after I complained to the manager. Waitress was kind yet overwhelmed and busy, we had to wait longer than usual for some items. The cook was fun and great and did all to make our experience better. My filet mignon was a disappointment, had fat and the hard white silverskin. Chef didn't remove it, and from 8oz went down to 5oz filet after removing those none eatable pieces. The rest of the food was delicious and well cooked.

   Server forgot to bring multiple items, did not take orders correctly so then Chef did not make food correctly and did not have an accurate amount of food. Chef kept missing food items when placing on our plates.

   It is a very dirty restaurant. Used to be much cleaner. Nothing like this would be acceptable in Japan. The chef was sub par. Had filet. It was low quality piece and the chef did not know how to slice it. FYI the chefs were not Japanese.

   Omg where do I start. From the spider climbing down from the vent where they cook the food onto our plates to how dirty the place was or the bugs on the raw food. This Benihana gives them all a bad rep i will never go back to this location. Our chef knew a guy that sat at our table so he gave him extra food. I paid for extra veggies and got the same amount as everyone else they refused to give us plastic to go containers oh and the sushi was mediocre at best. The most attentive person there was the manger in the black leather dress. The chef talked way too much so it took about an hour and a half to get all my food to my plate and he ran out of the garlic butter (the only reason why the food is so good) and started putting regular butter on everything. He put way too much salt on all the food. I did not want to tip bit my husband made me because he use to work in food service. Go at your own risk but be sure to read the reviews so your not to upset because you will only have yourself to blame.

   Made a reservation for 6:45 didn’t get seated till 7:15 and no waitress till 7:30. Dinner ended at 9:15. I would say that wait time plus the length of time to finally get our food didn’t start the night off right. Chef was ok food was good. Just a little dirty so I’m not sure I would come back to this location.

   As usual, FOOD & CHEF great, but last night dinner with HORRIBLE service, with likely new Server Allison or Alli. Very sweet but lost. Ya, soup comes 1 hour after seated, salad as Table Chef arrives, forgets 1/2 of order, had to be reminded x 2-3 for nearly everything, even Chef had to re-order missing cooking items himself. Never brought a few items asked for and/or included in paid dinner.
