   The location in GV was ideal for me, I live only 2 miles away. I've been to Benihana many times in multiple locations - so much of the same: Food was decent Chef and waitress were pretty good However I did notice something - they charge an automatic 20% gratuity on the table seated portion - nothing that we are afraid of just kind of surprised is all. Also the prices have in fact gone up significantly - kids entree around $17, a full meal almost $30. High end adult meals $65 and the portions were a little smaller FYI.

   The shrimp and scallops were underdone , everything else was great.

   We sat in the bar and glad there wasn’t an automatic gratuity like there is at the hibachi tables. Service wasn’t great and the sushi wasn’t great either. It appears it may have been made in advance - the rice was cold. My husband’s roll didn’t arrive when my order arrived and I think it may have not been ordered. They have gone down hill!

   The chef cracked an egg by accident, missing his hat. I ended up with egg shells in my fried rice, very uncomfortable crunch. The onions were very raw, not cooked long enough. There didn't seem to be enough servers for the number of tables; service was slow.

    Parking lot full of trash. Blunt wrappers, cigarette packs, bags of garbage from people cleaning out their cars. Outside of the building is looking rough and desperately in need of repairs. Chef was good at cooking but mediocre at entertainment. That’s a big part of why I pay for over priced hibachi. I think my days of dining here are over. It’s played out and extremely expensive.
