   Awful. From start to finish. Excessively loud excessively Smokey. The exhaust at our table did not work and smoke was in our face the whole time. We asked several times if something was wrong and was told no . The chefs were loud and obnoxious. Waitress got the order wrong. It was not the typical Benihana experience. No matter what state you are in … you expect the food to and service to be the same . Awful. Don’t go here .

   It takes a long time! They finally started cooking one hour after we were sat. We had a reservation so they knew we were coming. Just plan sit 2-2.5 hours.

    I was so looking forward to Benihana as it used to be a special event to go when I was younger. Unfortunately, after my visit, I won't ever return. The female manager got sassy when I told her about my allergies. The "Taste of Benihana" that my mom and I went in there for specifically, only available at the lounge(and managers will even tell you online doesn't state that but "oh well"). The lounge, felt like a Pizza Hut that was abandoned years ago(cheap and wobbly tables, cracked cushions, bad flickering lights). There were loud parties just standing around up there too. The server, oh the server. I felt like I got better service from when Panera used to bring your food to the table. Absolutely no customer service skills, didn't check on us with our food concerns(it was beyond overcooked and very dry), she would retreat to behind the bar and go on her phone until I would have to wave her down like a plane, argumentative, the opposite of relaxing. At one point I asked for some sort of sauce to prevent having to have the food recooked and to mask the too much salt, pepper, and Sahara desert texture. She brought over teriyaki. When the check came, we were charged for it. I offered advice(as a restaurant consultant) and said that if something is an extra fee, just to maybe let the customer know, because some people will take that out of her tip or riot in general. She told me she was calling her manager. The ONLY redeeming thing about this location is their newer male manager(I wish i could have gotten his name). He lived in Paris and used to own a fine dining restaurant down the road. We had a lovely chat. He agreed with my mother and I, and removed the fee for the sauce, along with offering us a discount of 10%(which was appreciated). We left, and the rest of the night both my mother and I took turns running to the bathroom to get sick. I'll leave it up to you if you want to endure this experience, but we won't be returning
