   The chef was outstanding, very entertaining, very personable and did a great job cooking. The restaurant needs to be updated. It also became very pricey. The elevator didn't work and that should have been fixed. Overall we did have a fun evening, celebrating a birthday.

   We were seated 45 minutes late with a party of 5, one small boy. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks. Then the party we were seated with one announced she was allergic to sea food and another allergic to garlic. So we sat and waited for the chef to cook there meals first. Then to top it off both of our meals were tasteless

   They are short staffed on chefs so they made us wait 30 mins after our reservation time to get sat. Which in hindsight was fine. We were okay with it. Just a heads up incase. The food is always delicious and it was well worth the wait.

   The waiter took our order and never came back. We were out of drinks the whole dinner. At the end of the meal we asked for sauces to go and never received them then was told they were out of lids.

   Looks like there were more chefs which is really good. We waited less time than previous visits to get seated and but it still too about an hour longer to get a chef to our table. Again still better than previous times. The food at Benihana never gets old, it's just sooooo good and is the standard I judge other hibachi places on. Keep going guys!

   Don't go! I went early, around 3:40. I realize for a hibachi setting, they will delay until the table has reached a majority at the table. I am making an educated guess here based on experience. That said, I feel sorry for the mother and 2 kids already seated. I had my 2 kids also. It was at least 45 mins before the cook, chef or whatever, started. He moved a snells pace and rather than begin preparing the rice and veggies, he prepares our sauces, which no one cared about. The rice and veggies were delicious. The shrimp was not deveined; the noodles were overcooked and over seasoned. No "show" which disappointed the kids (they love hibachi, I do not) and the building has seen much, much better days. No working elevator so keep that in mind for the physically challenged. And the finale, when we paid our bill, the cook, within ear-shot of the waitress, instructed us to tip him separately because he will never see a dime of the tip added to the credit card. Who does that???

   Very loud, noisy and obnoxious crowd that was sitting right behind us . I understand people have a good time but this should have been controlled a little bit more. There was a two-year-old toddler that kept getting out of his seat coming over to our table which I don’t mind I have kids myself but after 10 times of this, the parents should’ve gotten the baby or the staff should’ve said something he was grabbing our silverware and things off of the table! Staff should just control the environment and the people in it a little bit more in the future! Food was 10 out of 10 that was the best food I have eaten in a long time!

   The chef Stephanie saved the day. We thought of walking out several times prior to her starting our meal. Her energy was amazing and the food she prepared was excellent. The server, on the other hand, was not good. She disappeared for long periods of time. Forgot things the table ordered, very dismissive and we observed her on her cellphone as well while on a he dining floor. Based on overall experience, we will not be back. The chef Stephanie was very apologetic and worked quickly to get any items my guest or the other family needed, that shared our table.

   The food is pricey, but you’re paying for the servers, particularly the ones who prepare the meal at the table according to your specifications. These individuals put on a show for you & they can be funny, talkative & have great personalities with a level of skill & a sensibility about the people they are serving.
