    We had a good meal but were disappointed in the menu selections. We had our 13 year old with us and she wanted meat balls and spaghetti and it wasn’t on the menu. Our waiter David was excellent!

    The service was sloppy, food was just ok, and the area of the restaurant where we were seated was not at all like the picture online. There was no ambiance and the floor wasn’t swept. We hoped for a nice evening out and were very disappointed.

    Modern Italian in San Diego’s Little Italy. The food was amazing! Service friendly, attentive when needed and helpful with menu and wine list. Would go back for sure. Especially for the pasta mixed in Parmesan wheel.

    Loved the menu…. Very unique; homemade pasta was delicious. Reasonably priced. Great waiter who answered all our questions. Fabulous Cosmo! Really enjoyed our evening here!

    The food was wonderful! Our server, Brian, was awesome! We had a window table and observed an elderly lady fall on the sidewalk so we ran out to help her and assist. She was bleeding and embarrassed but the staff was very helpful assisting her. When we got her going again we we resumed a great meal!

    Amazing service!!!! Our server was one of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure to encounter in any restaurant!! She took us over to the sister restaurant where they had different options for the cheese wheel pasta. She made our pasta right in front of us and it was amazing!!! Such a fun experience and everyone was so nice and knowledgeable about the amazing food in both of the restaurants! I would highly recommend this restaurant and experience!! It will be amazing!!!

    Bencotto is a solid choice for hand crafted pasta and traditional Italian fare. You can taste the difference in their pasta. The lamb ragu tagliatelle is an excellent choice for first time visits, but be sure to check out the other options when you return. Ambiance is modern,, hip, and lively — just as you would expect for Little Italy
