   We had a fantastic experience at Bella Notte this evening. Our server, Sophia, was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely made the evening special. The food was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The Bruschetta Trio was our favorite dish—super fresh, flavorful, and fun. We’ll definitely be back soon!

   We go here for birthdays. We are never disappointed. Great food, reasonably priced and great service ! A gem in Lexington.

   Bella Notte has been my favorite restaurant in Lexington for the ten years that I have lived here, but tonight was extremely disappointing. The Asparagus Soup from their Spring Menu was bitter and didn’t taste like asparagus at all. Neither my daughter or I were able to eat it. The Brunette Sangria that I ordered was not fruity at all and tasted like straight brandy with an orange slice in it. My daughter had the Chicken Piccatta. Usually a safe choice if you’re a fan of chicken, pasta, lemon, and capers. But what they served her as Piccatta had something akin to thick pesto in it. We never really figured out what it was and she just ate the chicken and pushed the sauce aside. The thing that disappointed me the most was that the Tiramisu was served with caramel sauce on top of it. I have tried the Tiramisu at every restaurant that I have been to that served it over the last 30 years, including several in Italy, and previously at Bella Notte. It has never and should never be served with caramel on it. If it does then it’s NOT Tiramisu! I told the waitress that I don’t like caramel and asked if I could please have some Tiramisu without it. She claimed that they always serve it that way. Maybe she’s new? I won’t be eating there in the future. I find the lack of authenticity disappointing.

   One pasta dish was great, the porkchop entry was too dry, and one pasta dish had way too much garlic. Loved the ambiance, wine list, and service.
