   Lovely family lunch (8 in total) with 4 octogenarians. Really appreciated the private room with sliding doors which helped with the noise levels. Fabulous patient waiter.

   Nice place servers are polite but somewhat untrained Table needed a lot more service and it gets a bit tireing having to call people over instead of somebody having responsibilty of your table. Food was nice Wine was nice Price was ok for what we had too.

   I love it at the Bel and Dragon, the table was a little too small for their carve your own roast (which we love).

   Although the food taste and quality was to an extremely high standard the staff service was nonexistent, we had to constantly look to call someone, when they eventually came they didn’t really engage or make proper eye contact. We were served by 6 or more different staff at the table in an hour and a half.

   I love this place. We sat in the bar area where there’s am open fire, perfect for a winter evening dining. I had originally asked for a booth in the rear restaurant area via the top table ‘requests’ but they missed this - if you have any special requirements, call them directly. Poached duck egg and avocado starter is a great combination. Our friends shared the camembert starter that came with glazed walnuts and chutney - they loved the combination ! One aspect I wish would have been better - My cut of rib eye steak was below the standard I expected for the price. Three of us went for the steak and shared the same view. The staff were all exceptional - well-timed and very friendly.

   Food and ambience was excellent as usual. Service was below the expectations. There was only 2-3 tables occupied and still I had to call the waiters several time to be served.

    Great food nice place nice people, would go again. this was a business dinner but would like to take the family.
