We had amazing food and service. I was a bit bothered by the credit card fee but overall amazing place. Have gone here several times and it is always great!

Perhaps we came on a bad night. The service was slow, it seemed they were short handed, but the wait staff seemed very confused and unable to answer questions about the menu. The food was fine, not as good as in previous visits. I would try again at some future point, but if this had been my first visit, it would have been my only visit.

Food was good, but prices were high given the small serving sizes. For example, a small salad with salmon will set you back $39! I know its Carmel, built really!

Sadly the frier was broken so we could not enjoy their truffle fries. The pesto pasta was SO good. The pictures made the restaurant look bigger than it really was.

Always a great time at Basil’s! Denis and staff are very attentive and the food is wonderful. Basil is our go to restaurant in town.
