   One of my favorite restaurants! The ambiance is always inviting and warm. Servers are professional and efficient. I love the salmon, with its interesting vegetables and delicious sauce. My husband's favorite is the lamb kabab in the pasta shell. Definetly recommend this restaurant.

   Food was delicious, bar and service was great, but way too noisy and close to other tables. If you had to get up or sit down you had to ask people at other table to please move their chairs. Was so loud that my watch gave me a warning.

   Barbounia never disappoints. Came for a Passover dinner and everything—from the steak kabobs to the Israeli artichoke soup—was outstanding. We shared a spread of couscous, broccoli rabe, bread, and whitefish dip, and every bite delivered. The ambiance is chic and lively without being too loud, and it’s become a go-to in the neighborhood for good reason. Great food, great martinis, great vibe.

   excellent lunch date with my wife. the food was phenomenal especially the Lamb Kofta Kebab "Terracota". and the ambience was just perfect. quiet, not crowded at all, with comfortable seating and beautiful view of a slightly cloudy and rainy afternoon. just perfect for relaxing indoors and enjoying a comfort meal to warm the soul. service was also quite attentive and friendly.

   Highly recommend! Food was amazing as was the service. Our group of 4 had the escargot, 26oz shared ribeye (perfectly prepared and not overly salted) carrots, bread/pickle, fries - everything was delicious. They even whipped up a simple, lovely mixed green salad for us upon request. Ambiance was energetic. Not too loud. Restaurant feels cozy. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Montreal.
