   I’ve been a customer for years and I still enjoy dining or having lunch in a such great restaurant. I am dual French and British, I lived many years in France and I can clearly say that this place truly makes me feel like I’m in a French bistro, and a very good one. Equal to some fancy Parisians. If I may, it’s just my taste and my own view: I am super fond of « choucroute de la mer » I would really love to see this in your menu. I haven’t had it since for years, last time was at my favourite bistro in Paris. If you can add it in your menu, I will definitely visit you much frequently. I’ll come back anyway because I love your seafood plate.

   I wanted a happy place to celebrate my birthday - the place is busy, noisy, still the service is quick and the food is fairly good. The only disappointing starter was a salad with beetroot, otherwise the food is good and so is the wine selection. I don't remember the restaurant asking if we had an occasion - which would have been nice, but not a deal breaker.

   We were welcomed as if we were the only guests in the restaurant by a lovely friendly hostess. The restaurant was busy but not noisy. The food was delicious and good sized portions. My Dorset crab starter was to die for. Wonderful birthday venue for lunch. Our waiter was excellent.

   Out of the 3 meals we had, 2 were reasonable but one was stone cold. The service was abrupt and despite having the table for 1hour 4 mins, we felt very rushed throughout the meal and the whole experience was very disappointing especially as it was booked for my daughter’s birthday. Although they did bring a small profiteroles cake with a candle to her at the end of the meal. When we asked for the bill, we requested that the 13.5% service charge be removed, we were then questioned about this and asked to explain what was wrong with the service, the waiter was not happy with our explanation and asked for further clarity before he would take this off. We will not be returning.

   Really enjoyed my evening. The last time I think I was disappointed by a poor table tucked around the corner. Not so this time
