B Star is one of our beloved restaurants on Clement street since 2007.

It started simply with the idea of making healthy and delicious comfort food inspired by Thailand, China, Burma, India, Korea, Japan, the Philippines and our home, California.

Join us for a Salmon Ochazuke (Japanese-style comfort dish with popped rice and green tea-dashi broth) for Lunch, a Longanisa Burrito (where else but B Star?!?) for Weekend Brunch and, of course, a Tea Leaf Salad, Kau Soi and a refreshing cocktail for Dinner.

Interesting menu items. We loved the Asian beef wraps and the Chicken Kau Soi. Serving size is adequate but price is on the high side. We felt drinks weren't fabulous and definitely not worth the price. We'd return but be a little cautious with our selections.

The salmon ochazuke is my all-time favorite, and this visit was no exception. I always pair it with a glass of junmai sake for the perfect combination. My partner ordered the broken rice with salmon belly, but it arrived charred. The server promptly replaced it without hesitation, showcasing their excellent service. As always, we were delighted with both the food and hospitality—looking forward to our next visit!

Very friendly service makes you feel so welcome. Nicely decorated restaurant. We had a hard time picking from all the great selection of dishes be decided to try the spring rolls, sesame chicken, basil, chicken, and steak wraps along with the Tea salad. All were wonderfully prepared with very fresh ingredients. Enjoyed the meal very much.

We love the tea leaf salad and firecracker cauliflower. Thai iced tea and mango lassi are two favorite drinks. Look forward to trying the mango mimosa next time. I tried the felafal soup for the first time. Enjoyed it but it is quite spicy
