   Our server was excellent and the food was also excellent. Alcohol was a little pricey. The vibe is a little grungy, which matched our needs but the dining room, entry, and bathrooms weren’t as clean as they could be. We’d definitely dine here again.

   Hostesses had such a bad attitude but it did not transfer to the food or service which were both excellent. Please consider replacing your hostesses who were both unprofessional and cold/rude.

   This restaurant must’ve changed owners from 2 years ago or they’ve just really went downhill. It was super cold in the restaurant and they didn’t seem to enthusiastic to seat us after we waited patiently outside for and hour and 20 minutes for them to open up at 5:00. All of us ordered the shrimp and grits and didn’t realize they were going to be topped with collard greens.. the last time they were on the side. Never in my life have I had collards and shrimp & grits. Fried green tomatoes were too thick but tasted okay. The biscuits were the only good thing.

    Had high expectations based on other reviews but food and service was lacking. They were out of a few of their signature dishes but we tried three others that just lacked flavor. It was all very bland. Small portions. Whoever we spoke to on the phone about requiring a few additional minutes was very rude and unnecessarily strict, especially considering early Monday morning there weren’t many people dining anyway.
