   Paula made our night!! She had the chef make a version of poutine that was perfect for the two celiacs at the table. The rest of the food was very good as well; power bowls with salmon-highly recommended. Overall, a lovely evening for catching up with old friends.

   This restaurant was beyond my expectations. We ordered the brisket and lamb with the potato leek soup. The service was outstanding and the food was “fall off the bone” amazing! It was pricey but worth every penny! I would love to come back again in the summer.

   Went for the afternoon tea here and it was exquisite! The presentation of the food was absolutely amazing and the taste was absolutely delicious, have been to many afternoon teas at hotels in Toronto and this was definitely one of the best. The excellent value makes it a definite five star experience!! It was truly outstanding.

   We went to Azure for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service was exceptional. Our waitress Rhodena was super sweet, professional and gave us exceptional service. The ambiance was quiet, clean and relaxing. The food tasted really good and our drinks were delicious.

   My fiancée and I’s review of Azure Restaurant is a bit mixed. I’ll start off by saying the service was amazing, but there’s a reason that led to this. The ambiance is ok, it is near the hotel lobby, right beside a busy street but it has a unique style with a glass style wall/roof, but it was somewhat quiet considering. Our experience that leads to our fair but also poor review was the food. We had shrimp platter and a charcuterie board as our antipasto. The shrimp was 6 pieces for $24, it’s shrimp can’t go wrong, but $4 per shrimp is wild. The board was ok, but as I was about to eat a piece, I luckily happen to look under the piece of bread where I found mold. My fiancée and I were very surprised, given our experience at the hotel till then (which was outstanding) we were very shocked. We let our waitress know, she was also surprised but extremely apologetic. She took it to the back and assumingely told the manager of the restaurant who came to our table and apologized as well, stating it’s unacceptable and a few other words. We were offered another board if we wanted, but we declined, which he then offered our meal to be covered by them, which the hospitality was greatly appreciated as well as noticed which is why my customer service rating is excellent. We had a lamb shank and a braised beef plate as our mains, which was not bad. Of course we were cautious to check our food. The mold on our bread was concerning, it was a small little piece on the bread but obviously is not wanted by anyone, we believe the bread was probably sitting for a few days to have some mold on it. Hopefully this situation does not mean something for the kitchen I.e, if it’s messy or other food not being taken care of correctly. Overall, we had an unfortunate experience with our food, but we received excellent hospitality from what happened and even when we first arrived which was appreciated, specifically from the kind service our waitress and the manager.

   This was one of the best afternoon tea we’ve been to. The food was excellent the service outstanding. Our server Coco was Anazing. She went above and beyond and exceeded are expectations to make everything wonderful. The added touch of bubbles was an excellent touch to top off our tea. They accommodated dietary restrictions seamlessly. Would definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a wonderful afternoon tea experience. Great job and well done Azzure!

    We had breakfast on the Lounge Floor at the IHG hotel. For members who stay on the 8th floor, you have inclusive breakfast with your room reservation (fee included in it). We were told it’s the same breakfast as downstairs just more private and quieter on our floor, so I’d say the review should be ok. Nonetheless, we had breakfast on the lounge floor for the 2 mornings we stayed at the hotel. Overall the options are good, they changed a little bit each morning. The food was fine, service is self service but they are very helpful and responsive if something is needed. If your staying at the hotel for a few days and don’t want to waste time during stay in Toronto, then it’s worth it, but if you are here for a week or more, I’d take some of the mornings and go to some breakfast places in the city as there are many offerings around town that are very good. Overall, not bad for hotel breakfast.
