   I had previously dined here in the evening, which was quiet and very pleasant. This time I brought a large group of family and friends for Sunday brunch. We ordered bellinis, which were divine!! The food was well worth the relaxed wait - obviously cooked to order. Crepe florentine, breakfast crepes (in particular, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon option) and dessert crepes were served. All were delicious and cooked to perfection.

   Limited dinner entrees but there are excellent savory crepes. I had steak and blue cheese and it was divine. The waiter made an excellent wine suggestion for my meal. My husband had the salmon and said it was very good. I hope to try it for breakfast when we are next in town

   quality of food still exists....overall, anyway. new menu agreeable, certainly not bad. portion size seemed less than ideal--downtown location seems better? eg salad entree resembles a side salad--just on a bigger plate. bowl of french onion soup is maybe a 5oz portion--not exactly the thing to get stingy with, right? after all, it's onions, broth, bread, and cheese. hummus app with pita comes with a disproportionally small amount of pita. you can ask for more, but it takes 10 minutes apparently, and our server never anticipated the need.

   Aviary Café Farmers Park is remarkably bad. The service was very slow and we had a sticky spot on the table that we asked the waitress to wipe up - she never came back and we had to flag down another server to do it. I was visiting family in Springfield and took my dear friend to the restaurant for her birthday - I was really embarrassed at how awful it was. Neither of us is a picky eater, but our lunch was truly inedible. We had zucchini cakes, which were undercooked and had a very bad combination of spices; the bacon jam, which was loaded with large pieces of gristle and the brie/apple sandwich. It would seem hard to mess up a brie sandwich, but we both tried very hard to get it down and just couldn't. I was amazed that the server never asked us if anything was wrong with the food, since she could clearly see that we had barely touched it. I think this is the first time I've ever negatively reviewed a restaurant, but in this case it is well-deserved.

   Go! AVIARY CAFE is Excellent. Has become a new favorite for us, in Springfield. Beautiful interior design, delicious food, impressive cocktails and wines, top-notch service. We were very impressed and will return. I had the Maison salad with grilled chicken and later the chocolate crepe (for dessert!) with bananas and strawberry + raspberry sauce. Yum! My husband had the turkey with bacon & cheese panini + aioli sauce and pomme frites. He said the fries were some of the best he's had in a long time - freshly made, fried twice. They were very good. The server brings your dining ticket in a little French book - very nice touch. All the way around ... we really enjoyed AVIARY CAFE.

   I went here with a fairly large group for prom and we loved it! The food was delicious and they were very fast to make it and bring it to us even with a group of 9! The price range was really nice and I was very satisfied.

    This is our go to place in Springfield Missouri when we travel to visit our family. The food has gone down hill a little bit over the past year.Service was just OK. Our Server opened a bottle of wine and just sat it on the table. The server Did not offer to pour or have us taste the wine. Most of the dishes were just so-so. Sad because this is one of the better restaurants in Springfield Missouri.
