   Avalon's New Years Eve menu was excellent, capped off by champagne, noise makers, etc. We had a great time at our favorite restaurant and look forward to John's 2014 creations!

   The food was very good and the portions were appropriate for th number of courses served. We dined there for New Year's Eve with a fixed menu and the selections offered appealed to all.The only problem we had was that the waitress appeared to be a little over-energetic and knocked over our bottle of red wine, all over my friend's new sweater. The waitress and hostess didn't seem very apologetic about it and made no offer of drycleaning or compensation. Needless to say, the tip was reduced. Not a great experience...it's a shame because the food was good.

   Went here for dinner on New Year's Eve. Haven't eaten here in a couple of years, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I had the Veal cheeks, and my wife had the Filet, both were excellent. We will definitely return soon!

   We had a great table by the cozy fireplace and loved everything we ordered. My friends son is a chef and she bought him a gift certificate after dinner. Not our first time there. We love it

   Excellent and innovative dishes. We were a party of four and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals...with the pastas being viewed as exceptional by all. Also loved the cheese and salami board. Service was very good. If we're ever back in West Chester will certainly visit Avalon again.

   The feast of the seven fishes was fantastic. Each course was a treat to the palate and portions were perfect. The servers were attentive and the pace was very timely. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

   We have been away for awhile (trying other restaurants) but will be returning to Avalon which is a favorite. Chris the manager runs this place so efficiently and with so much grace, it makes dining out a pleasurable experience. We had the fishes dinner for Christmas and it was excellent. Some of the busboys could be a little more pleasant but the waitress was excellent. It is evident when the owner is on the premises because the food is superb!!!!Teach Chris how to cook and the place would be a goldmine!

   They had Feast of 7 Fishes but my Husband couldn't order because the entire table had to participate. To top it off, they wouldn't accept a gift card we were given by our children. Will not go back.

    My wife and I had a fantastic birthday/anniversary dinner. I don't remember her fish type, I had never heard of it but is was delish, and my ricotta and spinach tortelli was divine. Ask to sit upstairs where groups will be smaller and everything is quitter. BYOB!
