If you're staying at the resort, then go. Oyherwise, save your money or spend it on Smiths Family Luau instead. We wanted a luau near the beach, but we're disappointed.

Great show. The performers were fantastic. The food was plentiful and pretty good, that said I don't know that I would have ordered it from a restaurant.

Sulu' Luau is perfect for everyone. Great performers and musicians. The MC, Mana, is hilarious. My family had a wonderful time and the food was delicious. Of course one of the best parts is having the ocean view during the dining experience.

Being by the ocean really does make it better. The food is decent, and the drinks are pretty good for being served in small plastic cups. But the people are quite friendly, and the sight and sound of the ocean creates an unmatched ambiance. If you are willing to spend the extra money, consider getting the premium option, where you can skip the very long lines, sit in front, and can eat on real plates. The luau will call to confirm only a few days before the reservation, so don't worry if you don't hear from them until you are already in Kauai.

This is a nice event for the family. The food is not great, but it is good and it is served table side which is far better than a luau buffet when you have young kids. The setting was also far more intimate (smaller), than we expected, but the dancers were wonderful.

The Polynesian review was amazing! The dancers and musicians were very talented and gave us the feel of a great cultural experience. The food was a nice serving size for a trial of a wide variety of Hawaiian foods but the food itself was just banquet quality. It was nice that the food was served to you instead of standing in line for a buffet, but I wish I could have had the option to go back for more of what I really liked. We were disappointed that the dinner and show wasn't on the beach, and it's a bit pricey for what you really get. However, the show and music were really entertaining.

The Ali'i Lani Dinner Show has an intimate setting with a good view from every seat. I have been to many luaus throughout the South Pacific. This show is fun and very professional. The hand and footwork of the dancers is outstanding. The fire dancer did a great job! I recommend this luau to anybody that wants to experience a wonderful show and does not want to stand in line for food (it is being served to the table).
