Artisanal Restaurant is open seasonally from May-October end. Contemporary American Fine Dining in a rustic yet elegant environment. Innovative and progressive thinking in a farm to table approach, only working with the highest quality ingredients. This warm environment offers the best food and wine with excellent service. Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Private dining room adjacent to the wine cellar available for events. The only available menu is a pre-fix style, with 5-6 choices per course, $105/ guest plus a service fee. We do not offer a kids menu however kids prepared to order off our pre-fix menu are welcome. Our Dress Code is Business Casual. Collared shirts are required, jackets are preferred but not required for men. No shorts, distressed jeans, hoodies, hats, or sandals/flip flops.     Without a doubt one of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had over the many years of travel and fine dining. The restaurant interior is breath-taking. It is roomy and massive. The food selection and presentation is superb. The wait-staff is comparable to the food. One of the owners , Anita, makes a point of visiting your table and asks about your visit. I could not be more complimentary.

    What a delightful experience! Fine dining in a lovely space with an open kitchen, attentive staff, wonderful drinks, and portions that you’ll both love and regret. This restaurant is worth traveling for – – a five star experience all the way through.

    Our server Savannah was fantastic, very personable and attentive. The food was incredible, as it always is. The flavors in the seafood bouillabaisse were complex and extremely well developed. Overall an amazing experience.

    We had an outstanding meal at Artisanal last night—truly the most amazing dining experience we’ve ever had! This gem was recommended by our neighbors when they heard we were heading to the Banner Elk area, and we’re so grateful for their suggestion. First off, the drive down Dobbins to reach the restaurant was scenic and peaceful, a lovely escape from the busy road. Upon arrival, we were captivated by the restaurant’s stunning design; it truly is a work of art, thoughtfully curated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were fortunate enough to hear the incredible story of how Artisanal was built in its new location, which made our experience even more special. Now, let’s talk about the food—three courses of sheer perfection! We had a hard time choosing what to order, but every dish was exquisite. At one point, I turned to my husband and said, “This must be how the people in heaven eat.” This was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. A huge shout out to Chris, who took such great care of us throughout the evening. If you find yourself in the area, don’t miss out on this culinary treasure!
