   This place is really tiny, and the service was appalling! The waiters were all clearly far more concerned with sorting out the takeaway orders rather than attending to the (few) customers in the restaurant, The 9.95 for 5 courses (which were dishes not courses) was pretty good value, but the portions are smaller than normal. Fine for a cheap curry, but wouldn't really bother going for anything special.

   I went to the Angel Curry Centre in Islington on the £9.95 offer. The starters of onion bhaji & vegetable pakora were homemade & delicious. The garlic naan was similarly straight from the oven & utterly moreish. The main courses were in comparison a little disappointing: slightly stringy okra, very plain aubergine and the prawn madras was bland. But I cannot complain too much because of the amazing price! The waiters were lovely and attentive. Great value but don't expect Michelin starred food.

   Had a pleasant evening out with friends. Food was delicious, service was faultless despite being really busy. Good place for a cheap curry in Islington (BYO always helps!)

   Angel Curry Centre was just as good as all the reviews indicate. Friendly service, great value and top food. We needed to ask for the speal menu as were initally given the full menu. The portions are smaller on the special menu but totally sufficent and no waste - couldn't beat it for £9.95 each and no corkage. We'll certainly be back!

   The Angel Curry Centre in Islington was a great place to go. Service was good, prices very reasonable and the venue was clean. The food was also pretty good and the fact that you can bring your own alcohol an added bonus. It is tiny though so large bookings could be difficult if another large party is also there.

   We enjoyed our meal at the Angel Curry Centre. It's conveniently located just opposite Angel Station. We were given a set menu of a starter, curry, rice or naan and a side dish for £9.99. Main dishes could have done with a little more meat, but overall good value and very tasty. Liked the bring your own drinks aspect - even better value!

   The Angel Curry Centre in Islington, London is excellent value. Especially when using the five courses for £9.95 offer. You can bring your own alcohol with no corkage charge which makes it even better value. Not great quality as far as Indian food goes but brilliant if you are feeling poor and very, very hungry.

   Our 4th or 5th visit to Angel Curry Centre as we've always enjoyed the great food here. Unfortunately this time we were both disappointed a felt something lacking in the sauces - maybe a change of chef but definitely lacking the usual oomph and seem to be cutting down on portion sizes, rationing the meat.

    Great value for money, we could not quite believe it. It was tasty as well, so all in all a great experience!
