As always, the food was very well prepared. I had the steak fritter and my friend had the miso cod. Both were cooked to perfection. Service was a little slow, but nothing too extreme. We will definitely return, as Agustin Kitchen is one of our favorite "to go" spots.

We've been to Agustin Kitchen many times and have never been disappointed, but last evening's experience was "over the top". First of all, their outdoor space is among the best in town largely because it's enclosed within a shared courtyard rather than exposed to traffic or parking lots. Secondly, the service is always top notch, and our server, Manda, kept the tradition. And now, the best part. The food was "over the top" in uniqueness, flavor, and presentation. The menu was all new since our last visit. The "snap pea" salad was great, their version of short ribs was "melt-in-your mouth delicious, and the "Pain Killer" desert was a coconut-lovers dream. Unbelievable!

This was our first visit here. We were pleasantly surprised at the clean, modern design. The cocktail list was very creative and the one I picked was superb. We ordered two entrees to share between the three of us: one braised spare rib and a mushroom stew on a bed of polenta. The braised meat melted in our mouths; it was the best we have ever eaten, ever. All in all a wonderful experience. It is located at the end of the streetcar line on the west end of downtown. So very easy to get to.

I was visiting Tucson and Agustin was on all the lists of restaurants to go to, so maybe my expectations were just a little too high. My table was outside in the courtyard, which is charming. The service was good. However, I ordered the shrimp and grits. Mind you, I have had that dish at many places around the country so it's a favorite of mind. This one was pretty meh/bland. I wish I had better things to say because I wanted it to be as good as the lists made me feel it would be. Bon appetit all you foodies!

There must have been some kind of private event going on. We were basically ignored. Service is slow and almost nonexistent.

Our appetizers were good, mussels and yellowtail. I ordered lamb MR, it came out raw, cold and raw. My wife ordered her flank MW, it came out rare. The Yukon Au Gratin potatoes came out half cooked. It took that order a while to come out. When we started looking for our server we couldn't find her. We asked the hostess if she could get our server for us, she asked us what they looked like and she said that the server had to leave to go work a special function so she, meaning herself, should never have given her our table. That was a bit disturbing to hear so we told her what was wrong and she took our food back to the kitchen. We said we didn't want it cooked more, we were done. A short time later we had a young guy come from the back and he told us he was the Sous Chef and he said he was also playing the part of the front of the house manager because there was an event going on. He apologized for the undercooked proteins and said that that was their version of AuGratin potatoes. I said if undercooked potatoes was his version of the potatoes then ok. He later admitted that undercooked isn't the way they should be. He told us that we got stuck behind a large table thats why there was problems. That shouldn't be our problem. He also said that they would be shortening the menu and going to a different concept. That wasn't really an excuse for what was happening at that very moment. I've been in the hospitality industry all of my life. This wasn't a great experience, maybe it was just a bad night but we didn't need to hear all of the excuses, He did apologize and he comped the entrees but I won't be back, especially with all those excuses.

Everything was amazing! The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the Yukon Au Gratin dish. The potatoes were undercooked. So if I could, I would give 4.75 stars.

We ate on the Augustin Kitchen patio - it was a lovely temperature and pleasant atmosphere. The food and service were outstanding. We would definitely take guests here again or go for a special night out.
