The whole restaurant is elegant. The dishes are unique, more than delicious, and cooked to perfection. The wine pairings were spot on. And the service was just incredible. Only downside whatsoever is the price, but we certainly got what we paid for.

Another amazing and creative meal for a birthday celebration. The Seven course tasting menu paired with the premium wine selection was outstanding. Words cannot describe the joy your tastebuds will experience. The depth and variety of flavors and textures surpassed our expectations once again. Our server, Sue, is THE server to ask for; she is personal and professional. She is a joy!

Spectacular date night!

Dined on April 16, 2016

I've always had friends suggest I should try a lunch or dinner at a winery, and I finally booked a dinner at Trius. Am I ever glad I did! The evening was spectacular - the food, the wine, the decor, the ambience, the view. Also, the noise level was perfect - lively enough, yet quiet enough that we could have a conversation over dinner. This definitely exceeded all my expectations. What's more - the scallop with pork belly was simply divine. I wasn't sure what to expect (I didn't think I'd like pork belly), but the combination of textures and subtle flavours was an unexpected yet exceptionally marvellous treat. I will definitely be returning!

Amazing wine pairing menu

Dined on April 16, 2016

We indulged in the 5 course wine pairing menu, which was fantastic. Our server was very knowledgeable on the sishes we ordered and the wines she recommended for each of our meals. I also have a food allergy that she and thr chef were cautiois of and were gracious enough to make substitution and replacements for dishes I couldn't eat. Ibwould highly recommend this dining experience to all. I have already been raving about it to everyone i know. We will definitely be back. But all in all the food and the experience was amazing. Thanks Trius.

That should say everything. My hunny is a chef and of all the restaurants I've taken him to dinner, this is his hands down favorite.

A stellar night out at Trius!

Dined on March 3, 2016

We knew in advance that we would enjoy the atmosphere at Trius, having dined there before: the room is tasteful and elegant in a contemporary way, spacious, and conducive to conversation. We were very pleased with our Fabulicious meal. All members of our dinner party agreed that the food was outstanding - the three courses were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! The service was helpful, prompt and gracious. I will definitely recommend Trius for a memorable meal.

LOVELY DINNER

Dined on March 3, 2016

Had a Fabulicious dinner at Trius Winery Restaurant and it was truly FABULICIOUS! We were impressed by the simple elegance of the restaurant, the food presentation (can't help noticing next to our table the 3-ft tall decanter for 'letting the wine breathe' - very interesting and unique), and the impeccable and very personable service. The food was delectable especially the mushroom appetizer. The wine prices were very reasonable and the server didn't push the pairing when we indicated that we have medical issues. Very enjoyable evening. Will definitely go back and also recommend to friends.

Dined on March 1, 2016

Three of us had lunch this Tuesday at Trius restaurant. We've been several times before, especially during Fabulicious. The menu was creative, as before and the food was beautifully presented. Our servers were pleasant and friendly, as always. It was a very nice break in mid winter.

Diabetic concerns

Dined on February 27, 2016

The first time I ate at Trius I was absolutely thrilled at how my issue as a diabetic were taken into account. This time, the waiter was confused when I mentioned that I am a diabetic and obviously did not share my health issue with the chef as everything was sugared. I will be very hesitant to eat at Trius again and am unsubscribing from emails.

A Fabulicious experience

Dined on February 26, 2016

My sister and I went to enjoy lunch during Fabulicious in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Neither of us had been to Trius, so we did not have expectations, but it was great. Our server, Rich, was extremely helpful especially with a wine selection, even giving us a sample of two white wines to help us decide. The only negative was the confusion on entering the restaurant. We came at 11:50 for a 12:00 reservation and the doors to the restaurant were locked. Another couple of people also arrived at this time. We tried another door and came in through the side. There was no hostess yet to greet us, but arrived shortly after and we noted the doors were locked. She said, "yes, because we only open at 12:00". It was surprising that the restaurant was not ready to greet customers within 15 minutes of opening time.

Valentine's dinner

Dined on February 15, 2016

I came here for valentine's day dinner and got wine pairing. It was also a long weekend so the restaurant was full and the staff were friendly but seemed tired. The waitress poured me the wrong wine with my second course (I only know this because when she poured it for me she explained how it went well with the food that I didn't order). When I told her this after she just said the wine goes well with what I ordered as well and tried to make it sound like it's not a big deal. I am no connoisseur when it comes to wine so it actually didn't matter that much. However, I would have much more appreciated if she apologized and offered to pour me the wine that was actually intended to be paired with my food. Overall, romantic ambiance and great food

My wife and I have dined here for several years and we always leave impressed. This time was no different. Valentine's Day brunch had a three course menu that was inventive, delicious and outstanding in every respect. Knowledgeable and friendly service adds to the experience. In our opinion, the best place to dine and best fine dining value in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Great for a special date night

Dined on February 1, 2016

My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday dinner. The decor is really cool and the chairs are very comfortable. The food was excellent, coming from 2 people who are professional cooks. The portions are decent, they are not dainty tasters like some upscale restaurants have. Our server was lovely and attentive. We love Trius wine as well. We are thinking about joining the wine club and making trips out there more often.

Dined on January 16, 2016

Found this restaurant by looking on the website for winery restaurants at Niagara Falls. It was simply delicious. We were very well taken care of by the server. His recommendations of wine pairing were excellent. The atmosphere of this restaurant was cozy and the decor are pleasant. We absolutely recommend this place and do come back again.

Wonderful experience

Dined on January 16, 2016

My husband and I went to Trius on the second night of our weekend getaway at NOTL. From the the time we arrived everything about our evening was exceptional. The hostess and our server were both professional, pleasant and very knowledgeable. The menu was tantalizing, it was very difficult to make our choices as everything sounded very appealing. Our food arrived promptly and was very delicious. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was very inviting. Overall this was one of our best dining experiences ever.

A memorable evening

Dined on January 15, 2016

This was our first visit to Trius, although we've been living here for some years. I have to say that this was the most memorable meal I've experienced since an occasion with my family at the Park Lane Hilton, London, in 2014. The food, presentation and service were all first rate. Kudos to all concerned!

Disappointing experience

Dined on January 15, 2016

After visiting and thoroughly enjoying a visit to the Peller restaurant we decided to use my mothers birthday to try their sister winery. Upon arriving to the restaurant we were seated at a table with no view, even though the restaurant was empty. We were then given a menu that did not match the menu posted on the website which we had viewed that morning. Our appetizers were good and decently portioned, however, the main courses were extremely disappointing. My sisters vegetarian option was not even close to worth the $20 charged. It consisted of approximately 2 tablespoons of quinoa wrapped in a slice of cucumber and a couple scattered veggies on the side. My mothers pot pie had a very off putting flavour from the sweet spices and had the same sweet taste in the mash that accompanied it. I ordered a chicken panini with duck fat fries. The chicken was cooked well but was served on bread that was rock hard, making it impossible to eat as a sandwich. The duck fat fries were delicious and definitely the best part of the meal.
