    Tide pools is expensive but the food is awesome! Service was great and the location near the water is so cool. Best meal on the island so far

    Not a good experience. The ambiance is lovely, but the food is well….hotel food. The quality of the seafood dishes were not good. The crab cake appetizer was dry and flavorless. Couldn’t even finish all of it. My seafood entree and the one my wife ordered were both dry and tasteless. The food was plated well, and visually appealing, but the taste of the dishes fell very short. We won’t be back. It’s really a shame because the restaurant is in such a nice location. Wasted $250 here.

    The shrimp was raw, the lobster was hard, the steak was ordered medium rare and came well done. The ambiance was great, and it was an experience. However, a $900 dinner for 6 people and only 1 person enjoyed the meal was unfortunate. The place isn’t terrible, but know what you are getting into when you decide to eat there and spend that kind of money.

    Extremely overrated. The atmosphere is great if you can find a table without a small child or crying toddler, but the food is not good. We had mahi mahi (no flavor), poke bowl (full of onions and sauce; couldn’t taste the fish), beet salad (not great), and some other forgetful things. It was our anniversary and no complimentary dessert or happy anniversary gesture. Go for a drink and take a picture and go someplace else for dinner. We had dinner the other nights with our kids at Merrimans and Hualani’s and they were both great. Go there instead.
