Our waiter Jose took great care of us. Provided a nice anniversary gift of champagne and a gel-paint sign that read "Happy Anniversary". Continuously checked on us and provided good recommendations for food. Would recommend someone to sit at one of his tables.
New Fun Experience..it was great!
Great new experience. This was my first time and my wife wanted to go since she went with friends in the past. It was very enjoyable and the service was great. We did the wine pairing with the meal and I enjoyed it completely. Definitely will be back with friends for a Happy Hour. Thank you!
Overpriced for what it is
The restaurant really needs to do something about venting. Our eyes burned through the whole entree phase as the burner was "all or nothing" as the waiter put it. The batters are not good at all requiring burning the batters to cook the meat enough. We decided on the oil cooking as our first visit several years ago showed that boiling the meats did not taste good and just left us hungry from waiting so long for cook times. We arrived at 5:45 p.m. and did not get to eat anything until 6:30. Very long wait times and the place wasn't even busy. By the time we got done with dessert it was after 9p.m.
Perfect place to go for a special occasion. Always a memorable experience.
The food was good but Solomon is the star,he was amazing to me and my first time friends
This is becoming a tradition where we have birthday celebrations at the Melting Pot but it's so worth it. Everything was fresh, delicious and fun. We'll be back next year!
The Melting Pot is the perfect date night spot!
We enjoyed another exceptional dining experience at The Melting Pot last Friday. The food was delicious and the service was on point. I really appreciate the pacing of dinner service at this restaurant. You never feel as if you're sitting around waiting for the next bite, but you're not being rushed through your meal either. The staff really allows you to take your time. This is truly the perfect date night spot. My husband and I have been going for years, and will remain loyal patrons as long as they will have us!
Service was great--clear instructions; GOOD FOOD!
Brandon, the server, knows his customer base and approaches them with instructions as if talking to peers--very, very comfortable ambiance! The food options were superb! Plenty of time and very low volume music--we stayed more than 3 hours, and were WELL SERVED!
Took my wife for her 60th birthday. She loves fondue and especially The Melting Pot's chocolate fondue dessert. I'm a foodie or gourmand, so I really like delicious, as well as healthy food, which is not exactly what you get at The Melting Pot. The experience is unique, as cooking your own meal in a pot is not what you typically do at any other restaurant. The pros: the fondue IS good, the experience unique, and the service is usually very good. The cons: very expensive ($50 to $60 per person), the entire table must choose one cooking style, and the difficulty getting a reservation.

This time was a disappointment. Luckily our server, Jorge made it worth staying. We usually love going to the Melting Pot because it's so relaxing and the service is attentive but not obnoxious. We sat at our table for 20 minutes, completely ignored. We finally flagged down a waiter and apparently there was a huge misunderstanding about who was serving our table. Once we finally got glasses of water, no one came to refill them. The food courses were far apart so that it took 3 1/2 hours for a 4 course meal. And a manager NEVER came to our table to apologize for our long wait, or to say anything. I'm not sure how many other tables were sat and completed their meals in the time it took for us to have our meal. We felt like we were last on the priority list even though we had a reservation. I'm not sure if we will be back.
I enjoyed the food but my mother's order was wrong and it took a while to get a replacement and my father's filet had some fat/gristle in it. We also felt the chocolate portion seemed reduced compared to previous visits based on the amount of strawberries, marshmallows remaining with no chocolate remaining. For what ending up being right at a $200 dollar meal I definitely hold the restaurant to a higher standard.
Went for brunch but misunderstood the pricing. It was my wife & I and I was under the impression that the 1 pot of cheese fondue we shared was $7.50 total, not $7.50 per person. This was also the way desert was structured and our "entree" being $16 per person resulted in an $80 brunch bill for 2. Definitely will not do brunch here again.
I skip the Big Night Out 4 course dinner because I'm not a fan of any of the salads at Melting Pot. Not sure if they still do it now that the menu and pricing structure is different, but there's a 10% discount on a bottle of wine if you order the Big Night Out. I just the build your own fondue option but I always ask for "Cheese for three" when dining with my date because the cheese is my favorite part. They have a chocolate martini that's really good but you have to ask for the "clear one" otherwise it comes as a creamy version that isn't as good, in my opinion. Our waiter was okay but he kept pushing that his favorite was a white cheese blend (Alpine, I think they called it?). It was weird that even after we ordered Cheddar cheese he kept going on about how good the Alpine blend is and how well it compliments the dippers. I wanted to say "Uh, okay...so are insinuating I ordered the wrong thing?" It's also strange that they let people in from the back door/fire exit. The first time it happened I thought it must be to surprise a guest by sneaking people in through the back door. But then it happened two other times and from what I can tell, they weren't part of the same party. Did I mention it set off a fire alarm noise when they opened the door? Very strange and distracting to have to wait for an alarm to stop so you can finish your conversation. Otherwise the food is good and I'll go back when I have another craving.
Amount of food has decreased
The first time I went to this restaurant was in 2012. At that time, I remember it was great in every aspect. This year I went back with my boyfriend on Leap Day and I didnt have the same experience. I had a reservation scheduled for 7:30. We got there at 7:33 and were seated at 8pm. It took a while for the server to show up between courses which I didnt think it was a big deal. I got disappointed when i saw the amount of food. It was a way less than the first time I went there. The deal was 29 dollars on that day. When we got the check, it charged us an extra 10.00 for the "special" broth that I never knew we would get charged extra for that. Because of this, the server gave us a box of dipped strawberries. I think it was nice of her, but my experience was ok. Fondue was good, but not as I was expecting taking into consideration my first experience. I am glad I didnt pay the full price( 59.00) for that amount of food. I am sure I would be mad if that had happened. We left pretty full but that was because we were eating a lot of vegetables to get stuffed. Meat course was just a few pieces. Very disappointing.
Our waiter did the best he could & I'm not sure who dropped the ball, but most of the drinks we tried to order, they were out of some of the ingredients. These were drinks they had advertised on their table. We love the Melting Pot & have eaten there many times but for what they charge it was disappointing. We were celebrating a college graduation. We'll go elsewhere for our next celebration.
Excellent as always
We've had lunch and dinner here several times. Each time the service is impeccable, the food choices abundant and the experience amazing. On our most recent visit we took family members who had not previously dined at a restaurant such as this. They loved it! Kid friendly as well. If you leave here hungry you're doing something wrong.
The food was amazing. I loved that there were so many options. Watching everything cook in front of you is definitely an experience and a great time to hang out with friends.
LOVE The Melting Pot!!
We celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary and this was our 2nd time at the Melting Pot. The experience from the 1st time to the most recent, did not change a bit. The food is fantastic, the staff are wonderful and the ambiance is perfect for a Romantic dinner for 2. Our waiter, Drew, was awesome and very attentive. I can't say enough good things about him. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the Melting Pot to anyone. I would also highly recommend purchasing the garlic & wine seasoning they sell. If you want to try your hand at Fondue cooking at home, I would recommend buying The Melting Pot cook book as well. We did, and are already planning a Fondue Party at home. Thank You Melting Pot for a wonderful & memorable evening. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Great Food and Fun Ambiance
This restaurant was very nice. We didn't have a specific occassion, but we had talked about going as a group together. Other than not being able to get my chicken cooked, the food was good. Our waiter was super and he was great with giving suggestions. He was always attentive to what we needed.

We just had the most amazing service. We gorged to an embarrassing degree, and our server totally catered to the 7yr old birthday girl. Brandon let her help make every table concoction, and he customized a birthday tower for her and gave both girls blackberry toast mocktails. What a fun experience. Delicious, too! The reason I down-scored the ambiance is because the decor sort of lacks character. We loved our experience and will splurge again. Worth it!
I love this place!
I first heard about The Melting Pot in late 2014 and instantly fell in love. I've never had a bad experience there. The staff was friendly and it's always fun to try new items on the menu and the different desserts. It's a bit pricey for us so my husband and I said we'd go AT LEAST once a year haha. We're 3 for 3 so far but since we just went this week and it's early in the year, I may try to squeeze another visit out of him in a few months ;-). I'd definitely recommend for a romantic night out!
Had a magnificent time. Food was great. Our Waiter was the greatest ever. Exciting and a nice adventure. I will be a regular from now on!
We celebrate all our birthdays here.everyone there are fun and fabulous.
Perfect for romantic occassions
We come here for our anniversaries and Valentines. The food is always very good, and it's a unique cook-at-the-table experience.
everyone that you feel at home
Everyone made you feel comfortable it was great to be there. Josh was my server he was magnificent when I come back I hope he is still there and I would love for him to wait on us again. One of the hostess was walking around greeting everyone having a brief conversation making us feel very comfortable. It was my 3 week anniversary
Wonderful romantic Valentine's dinner
The ambiance and service were outstanding, the food was really good as well. I felt it was a bit overpriced for what it was, but I do understand it was a special Valentine's price. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great date night or special occasion dinner. The desert course with the chocolate pot was my absolute favorite!
It was better when you got 2 class of champagne with the meal instead of a sticky shrimp cocktail. Also you use to get a thin slice of cheesecake with the chocolate fondue now you just get a bowl of strawberries. Melting Pot charges more every year but cheapens up the courses.
Such a Romantic Valentine's Day with Great Food
We came on Valentine's day weekend and were served the 5 course pre-set menu. I was a little concerned about the food being worth the price, but in our case it definitely was. The cheese was delicious, but the star was the main course of fillet mignon, lobster, ravioli and so much more. The creme brulee fondue dessert was amazing and they give you so many treats to dip and are happy to bring extra out of your favorite. It was our first time at the Melting Pot, but it definitely won't be our last.
They really made this special. We had a great time
Wine, perfect. Lighting, perfect. Waiter, attentive and awesome. Great night to lean back, relax, eat and stay a while.
Our first visit was a great success! We celebrated our 26th. Anniversary. Even the management brought champagne to us and wished us well. Thanks for making it such a special celebration!
I loved the food and the place I didnt like that I had a reservation got there about 7min early and didnt get seated till 30min after my reservation time
Great Night Life
This is a great place for a first date, date night or any other type of get togethers. The atmosphere is great. The mood is vibrant and the entire staff will exceed your every expectation. No matter what the occasion is this is a great spot.
Room for groups was NOISY
We had a party of 8 & were seated in the group room with 3 other tables of 8. While the restaurant is usually pretty quiet this room was uncomfortably loud. Our dinner was spent yelling across the table. Our servers were excellent.
Best Anniversary experience.
First time to The Melting Pot, 10 year anniversary. Hands down the best anniversary experience to date. It was an easy event to plan which for a guy is a plus. Our server Brandon was excellent, he explained each course of the meal and helped us pick out the perfect meal. We arrived 45 minutes early and they said no problem and had our table ready to go in 5 minutes. The whole experience was great. Great place for special occasions and will be going back soon.

Special Birthday Dinner
This was a fabulous night. Natalie was our server and she was excellent. She suggested a great wine after hearing what we like. She was friendly without intruding. We chose the Fondue by you 4 course meal. The brie and bacon cheese course had a bite if sherry that was great with the rye bread. The salads were fresh and crisp. The duck, shrimp, and pasta choices were perfect in the mojo pot. And of course the turtle chocolate dessert was yummy. Thank you for a great evening!!
Fun Sunday Brunch
We arrived for our 12:30pm reservation and were seated promptly by a welcoming host. We sat at a table in the bar area because it was next to windows. The restaurant can be dark and cozy which seems fitting for dinner, but brunch, I have to have light! Our server Josh did a great job taking care of us. He was patient and helpful with questions regarding the menus and cooking times. They have a great brunch menu and brunch cocktails at reasonable prices, however we chose to order the 4 course dinner option. We started with the Alpine Brie and Bacon fondue. We pretty much devoured that! 2nd course were the salads. Caesar for me and Spinach for the hubby. Both were good. Then the main course. We both ordered the Fusion plate. This had lobster, shrimp, duck and a filet. Great variety. Unfortunately after the main course we were too stuffed for the 4th course, Desert, so Josh packed it to go. Overall everything was perfect and was a fun way to start our Sunday Fun day. We would also like to give a shout out to Abbey the bartender who made us a perfect French 75, and a Deep South tea.

A little expensive for what you get.
The service was great the food was so so for the prices. If you are going for the experience it might be worth it, but the for food is so so.
