Second time in one month and I have to say no regrets. I usually get the fiesta cheese but had the spinach and artichokes cheese and it was on point. Highly recommended!!!
Overall a different experience. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and the table next to us was a table of women and very loud. The lighting and table set up was wonderful! The food was alright. Could have had a little more flavor. Everything was fresh which was wonderful. Service was wonderful! Our waiter was very happy and seemed to enjoy his job. Got everything out in a good time frame. Good experience for the most part. But would probably not come back again.
We have eaten here several times. This time we took our 3 kids for a dessert surprise. Our reservation was at 8pm. We arrived on time and we're promptly seated. We ordered water to drink to begin with while we decided on our chocolate fondue of choice. 20 min later still no water and we hadn't been able to place an order. When we did it took another 30 min before they brought us our order. Also, our water glasses were not filled and we had to get up to find someone who could bring us more water. It took another 25 min to get additional fruits for our chocolate fondue, and finally another 15 min to have our ticket brought to us so we could leave. Needless to say it was a very frustrating experience, and one that is not typical of this restaurant.
Way to much lag time
arrived at 8:30 did not receive our ck until having to ask for it at 11:30PM, we were never offered water or another drink. hardly saw our waitstaff, and when we did he said he would be right back with our order and 20-30 min later he may be back. very poor wait staff, we were there and only had one water and one drink not because we didn't want more but never were offered more and when and if he did drop off food it was her ya go see ya later type of feel.
Visit on 04/17/16. Andrew was a great waiter. Very informative about what to do as we had no idea (First visit) He did forget to tell us that the cooktop was induction. Me moving the pot caused it to cool. I told the bartender (1st person I saw) and he resolved it immediately with a polite explanation of what I did wrong. Then Andrew and the Manager showed up to find out what happened. Great responses. I would suggest that there be a clock in the booth to time the food cooking. In the romantic light was hard to see my watch. We had the anniversary special so it was a little pricey. The ambient, food, and staff were great to outstanding. A romantic celebration at the Melting Pot is like going to the Balloon Fiesta or Rose Parade. Have to do it at least once.

Start off with sticky table, lovely. Waiter finally returned with rag and spray 30 minutes later to clean. A three and 1/2 hour dining "experience " due to slow service. Oh yes, Let's skimp on the dessert dippers and never return with promised extra strawberries. It was prom night and not even the prommies had enough time left for dessert. Never again.
Nice evening but _ _ _
Food was great and the service excellent but we nearly froze before we finished. The A/C (?) vent came on near the beginning of our main course and our server was not able to correct the problem. Eventually when the manager came to check on how we were doing he was able to turn it off. By then we had our coats on are were almost finished. It would have been a great evening but for the temperature!
My first visit but it won't be my last
My friend has been wanting to go to The Melting Pot for some time now & I really wish we would have gone sooner. Our server, Kim was awesome from the start. She did a great job explaining the menu & how the courses worked. The food was great..I had the most tender steak. The courses were well paced & the offers to bring out more were numerous. Dessert was the finishing touch..I highly recommend the caramel cheesecake & the cream puffs for dipping. Overall, this was an awesome dining experience & I plan to go back again.
Was a date night with my boyfriend. I had never been to the melting pot and wanted to try them. I was very pleased, it was a lot of fun, charming, was delicious and the staff were all welcoming. Excellent place and people.
Dining at this establishment requires you to spend some time cooking your food. You also spend time dipping in the cheese and the chocolate. This all requires a bit more time than eating off of a prepared plate in front of you. This makes it a fantastic time if you want to sit and be social with your friends and family. I would not reccomend this to someone with small children or impatient adults.
This place always amazes me!
I have been eating here every other month for the past 7 years. This is my favorite place to way no matter what city I am in. They have never failed me. Go hungry! I highly suggest the 4 course meal . It is shareable . It is a great interactive experience. If your tight with your money I would not suggest this place. I've seen a lot of negativity about it being over priced. You get what you pay. The point of fondue is you cook it your self which is something my son and myself enjoy. If your broke take your a** to Taco Bell where you can complain !!!
Our server was very friendly and informative since this was our first time to the Melting Pot. The food was delicious. We got the four course meal, which included cheese fondue, salad, meat entree, and a chocolate fondue. While it was all very good, there could have been a better variety of breads and chips for the cheese fondue, as well as a better variety of fruit for the chocolate fondue. The chocolate fondue definitely should have had more fruits available for dipping. We didn't like dipping super sweet brownies into additional chocolate. That was chocolate overkill. Overall, the price for these four course meals was incredibly high for the selection.
First time at the newly located melting pot
My wife and I went for a romantic lunch (Saturdays/Sundays only). The waiter was attentive and informative without being obtrusive. The price is set per person for a 4 course meal (a cheese fondue appitizer, a choice of small dinner salads, an entree utilizing a choice of fondue broths, and a chocolate dip for desert). Plan on about two hours to eat. Booths are isolated, so it's easy to carry on a quiet, private conversation. Upgrades in the fondue liquids are offered for about 1.50 per pot additional. You can also choose to get additional side dishes of your favorite foods that may not be part of your 'set' meal. For example, we got a side dish of shrimp (about 5) for $5. If you like wine with dinner, I would suggest trying the $14 - $!7 selection whereby the waiter brings a 3 ounce serving of a pre-selected wine for each course. We were interested in trying some fondue at home, and bought a Melting Pot fondue book on the way out for $30. It's excellent - better than what we had gotten through Amazon. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience.
If I wanted to cook my meal, I would have stayed home. Not fun.
The service couldn't have been better
Steve was an amazing waiter on his own, but we also had a manager and a couple of other people stop by the table to check on us. No, they weren't intrusive, they didn't hang out and chat, just checked on us. We probably got such incredible service because it was a Tuesday evening and the place wasn't really packed, but all the same, we had a great time. The marinated meats in the entree course held their flavor through the cooking process. The spinach and artichoke cheese fondue was excellent. And who could complain about a S'Mores chocolate fondue. Really? Yes, I would recommend this place for special occasions or just a special treat. Too expensive to be a place I'd go regularly, but loved it for this outing with my granddaughter. Go during the week if you can, you'll probably enjoy it more.
We enjoyed very much the lunch special with cheese fondue, salad & chocolate fondue. It was the perfect amount!!
Pricey but good
If this were not,as pricey as it is we would would go more often. But as it is for me it is a once a year treat! But oh so good. Service is great and of course you can have a conversation which to me is everything. I hate loud restraunts. Our server out standing
Oustanding Mother & daughters lunch!
Took my teenage daughters here for lunch, f irst time for my girls. We absolutely loved the experience. Our server Matthew was great! Food was excellent, we were stuffed with just the 3 course meal. Highly recommend this place!
The last time we visited we were in a quiet booth.
My mistake this time for not requesting a quiet out of the way dim lit booth. last time we were there I requested it and really had a quiet romantic evening. This time it was also good just not as private.
We really enjoyed our experience at the Melting Pot. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Our waiter was very friendly and provided great service.
Absolutely NOT worth the money.
- We had to wait to be seated even though we had a reservation. - We were seated in the rear of the space which was basically a hallway with table and diner benches. The rear space was not attractive and when the hot plate was on became uncomfortably warm. - We waited up to 30 minutes each time to be served two rounds of drinks - The raw meat was good but you are boiling it in flavored water - no matter the quality of meat the flavor after being in boiled water is ugh. The potatoes served with the meat took up to 30 minutes to cook and yet your steak/duck only takes 2 minutes. - The cheese fondue was good but you had to pay additional depending on what kind of cheese combination you chose. - The chocolate dessert that comes with the 4 course meal at $45.99 was very disappointing. Very little chocolate - so you end up with the dippings and no chocolate left. - For 3 drinks, one 4 course meal and one Fillet Mignon at $24.95 it came to over $100 without tip as you are hit with all those little hidden extras (upgrades to the basic menu). We had hoped this would be a favorite as it is fairly local to our home - instead we felt we left the restaurant hungry with half of our meat uneaten because it was tasteless after being boiled. If you do dine here, try to get a table near the front which is more airy and spacious. The one redeeming factor was the cheese fondu - it was delicious but not enough to entice me back again.
the food was every good. and are server was very attentive all night.
We had a 6:30 reservation with a strict 7:30 departure time. Our server made his first appearance at 6:50. He tried to play it off that it wasn't his table, but the hostess told us our server's name so we knew he was supposed to be our server from the beginning. I told him that we had to be out by 7:30, not a minute later and we still left 10 minutes late. We nearly missed an 8:00 show because of the communication problem. The food was good and 9f we weren't in such a rush, it would have been a better experience. Will try again in June.
Really Great Place with a Poor Reservation System
We love the melting pot and our last dinner there was no exception. The food is excellent, the staff well trained and friendly. My only issue was that I had made a reservation online, and had even received a reminder email about the upcoming reservation, but when we got to the restaurant they had no record of it. Luckily we were able to be seated as they were not too busy, but this is too great a place to miss out on because of an inconsistent online reservation system. I hope they fix it. Until then, call directly.
Great for special occasion
When her for a valentines day dinner for my boyfriend. He had never been and he loved it. The environment, the way the food is served and cooked it was different and enjoyable. It is a bit pricey but for the experience it can be worth it. Its not just a dinner its a experience because you are there for about 2 hours... Definatly will go back for another special occiasion.

You'll never leave hungry!
We love the fondue. Plenty of food! Valentine's Day, we thought would be nice. Started with romantic ambience, lights flickering ..turned into an ordinary day!! Two hr time limit, we had 20 minutes left and our dessert still wasn't on the table. Service could have been better organized. We were being rushed to leave so we ended up taking our dessert to go!
Pricey food. We would eat here more often.
Food is pricey and you have to cook it yourself. The cheese and chocolate are the best part. Our service was amazing.
Great Food horrible service
I have been attending the melting pot for years and this was the worst by far. Food was great but service was horrible. It took 20 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted something to drink. It took another 20 minutes to find a desert menu. When the waiter finally did show up he had to ask us many times to repeat what we wanted. (All we had was desert) it couldn't be that hard to remember. The fastest thing we got was our check. Needless to say I was not happy when we left. Horrible horrible service. Very disappointed.
awesome service and great vibe!
Our server (Matthew) was amazing and funny! It was my girlfriends birthday and the first time I celebrated with her, he made sure she was well taken care of the entire time. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would listen!
Overall we had a great time. Our only concerns were the amount of time it took for us to get our water refilled and we waited an extremely long time for our dessert that my daughter ended up falling asleep at the table
Disappointed in the chocolate.
We've heard how great this place was but for the price I expected better flavor from the meats as well as the dessert. The chocolate was too syrupy tasting. Expected more quality.
Worst service ever!
Over the last few years my wife and I have gone to the Melting Pot and really enjoyed it. Tonight we went for my wife's birthday, the service was horrible. We waited at our table for 25 minutes for our server to take our order. We waited an additional 20 minutes to get our cheese fondue, when the fondue was delivered the server dropped the "premium dippers" we ordered on the table. He stated he was having an off day. Salads were served half way through the fondue. I order the California salad, it was missing the candied pecans. After the server picked up the cheese fondue and salad plates we waited 20 more minutes for our main course. Our main course arrived, all was to be as expected. When we were done with the main course we were waiting for the server to pick up and bring the chocolate fondue we had requested. Once again we had a lengthy wait time. When he finally arrived my wife asked him if we could get the chocolate fondue to go. He stated that it was not a good idea. He seemed relieved the we would rather pass on desert. I paid the bill and we left, when pulling out of the parking lot we noticed the individual that had been our server was outside on the east side of the building talking on his cell phone. I do not think we will be returning to the melting pot any time soon.
It was a very fun dinning experience. Romantic als
I think ur too expensive for what you get. Most people couldnt afford to come very often..The only thing I didnt like was that the table for 2 was too little and we were looking at a wall. Felt very closterphobic.
We choose The Melting Pot as the location for our annual get together with our very best friends. We look forward to sharing this unique dining experience and having time to catch up with each other lives.
Our go to for birthdays and anniversary. Love the food and time we get to spend together.

A Different place to eay
The service person was very attentive and accommodated our special requests. We have been to the Melting Pot several times. The menu has changed since our last visit. It is now more consumer friendly and easier to customize our personal favorites.
save your money
This place is SOOOO expensive and not all that great. It is only cheese for pete's sake! They have gotten really stingy on the portions and dipping sides. Save your money, you can make better food at home for less.
