About this restaurant

Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995. Special diet needs met upon request.

    This is a wonderful restaurant, the food is always delicious, the service is great. It’s not inexpensive but we’ve been back many times, especially for special occasions. It’s quiet, intimate and delightful in every way.

    I have traveled the World and no restaurant that I have been to can have such a diverse menu and every item is outstanding! Drinks and service are always great as well!

    We are new to the area and this is our 2nd dining experience at Ivy Inn. There is nothing they can't do exceptionally well in the kitchen from Firsts to Dessert and the service matches that. I have had fine dining experiences all over the world with colleagues and clients, and I would take anyone from anywhere to dine at the Ivy Inn knowing they would leave pleased with the experience.

    This was our first visit. Great experience. Everyone acknowledged our anniversary. Menu was personalized and desser embellished with script on the plate. Extensive wine list and creative menu. We will most certainly return.
