The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The exposed brick and the bar are an exceptional part of the decor. Food was delicious, I had the special (Macadamia nut crusted Sole) and my friend had the Salmon. Great experience overall.
Nice place but very pricey
The service was great, the food was good but far too expensive!
We went there for a romantic date, the ambience was good and the staff were great, we enjoyed the food but honestly do not think the prices for the entrees were worth what we paid, the appetizers, drink menu and dessert menu were decently priced and worth it though.
Came for dinner had happy hour special cusps to bartender Manhattan was superb. Leslie was very attentive and helpful
Thanks for staying open late to feed us after our flight. Your hospitality is always so appreciated
Everything was great with one glaring exception. From the minute we were seated until we left which was a total of 1.5 hours the hostess kept reminding us we had to leave at 7:30 for the next Reservation. Keep in mind we had just spent 260 dollars in your business. I also own a number of businesses and fully understand the need to turn tables: however, this was ridicules the number of times the hostess came up, not just one hostess but several. Simple solution would have been to seat us at a different table at the beginning, rather than push us out the door. We had planned on dessert and after dinner drinks but we're rushed out costing you another 80-100 dollars. Will not return!!! Sincerely, Randy & Angela King
The food is fabulous & the help is excellent.
The restaurant is quite noisy. We have eaten there twice in the last month and we most definitely will go back. The seafood and vegetables are wonderful!!
It was a very nice place and great service. I thought the food was very over priced for what you got. My lobster was cooked perfect, but lacked flavor. My husband had one of the fish specials and it was suppose to be Cajun. It had hardly any Cajun and lacked salt or flavor. The sides were tasty and the bread and butter were excellent. We had a nice time. Our server was great.
Not so much...
Over all experience is best described as Lack Luster..
Second time at restaurant to return steaks
I'm not impressed. Steaks are not cooked correctly and had to be returned. Other meals were only okay. Service was the highlight.
It's was a favorite
The Brickhouse has been a favorite and rock solid for years. We make an annual trip to Central Oregon and rarely miss an opportunity to eat here. The food was just not up to our standards this year, several our meals were disappointing. Service was great!
Great food,great service
My husband and I had a great dinner Christmas Eve. The service and food was great. I look forward to dining there again.
Our family of seven enjoyed a special night out with a great waitress, excellent food, and neat ambiance. Our ages ranged from 62 to 95 and the service was spot on; the waitress was friendly, kind, and engaging and tolerated us oldies like we were her family. It was greatly appreciated. This is a gem in Redmond.
Dinner with co-workers
We always enjoy the staff and service along with the wine at the Brickhouse. The last 2 times we have been there the food has been a nick off resulting in the feeling that the meals were over priced and it will be a while before we go back. I had the petrole sole special. It was so over loaded with "stuff" I couldn't even tell it was fish. Very disappointing.
High quality always
Brickhouse is a great option for a special night out in Redmond, where sophisticated menus and high-end ingredients are unusual. Great steaks and fish and the service is always excellent. Prices are high for this market, or I would dine there more often.

Incredibly over priced and the food was marginal at best. We are local and have many exceptional choices to dine. We will not go back.
They definitely have the best steaks around and they have some of the best servers I've ever had! Great ambience and an extensive wine selection-great .

The service was impeccable, despite a little confusion over sides. The ribeye was cooked to perfection.
Waited approximately 90 after ordering get to be served dinner. Management apologized and provided complementary dessert, but really was to little too late. Most likely will not dine there again.
The service was outstanding and the food was way above par. Started out as a Happy Hour experiment and ended up utilizing their First Hour menu instead. Turned out to be a great decision for both the marsala and papradelle and the three course option was perfectly sized for the early dining crowds. Bravo !
Been to the Brickhouse many times and it is always excellent. Tonight was a busy night and they did a great job but not the normal 5 star night. Still a great dinner but just too busy to make it exceptional across the board.
9/4/15 Redmond Brickhouse
Made reservation to try and get a nice romantic table for an anniversary dinner. Restaurant was so loud could not carry on a conversation across the table and had another family sitting at the adjoining table. Food was ridiculously overpriced for the quality and quantity. The salmon was so bad I had to send it back and order something else when we were finally able to get the waitress attention. Charged $34 for a playing card sized piece of salmon and a scoop of potatoes, if you would like vegetables or a salad that is an additional $8-$10. Twelve ounce steak is $50 plus 8-10 for a side if you would like something other than a potato. Not worth the money. The food was not good, the service was terrible, and the prices were ridiculous. Will not be going back to the Brickhouse once was more than enough.
Good as Always!
We took friends from out of town to Brickhouse and as usual it did not disappoint. Good food, good drinks and excellent service. Wonderful gem in Redmond.
Really like this small town
Food always good. Service always good, especially Leslie. Don't want to cook or special occasion, you won't be disappointed.
Great find in resort town of Redmond
A great restaurant in a beautifully restored old building in downtown Redmond. Well worth the short drive from the resort for truly delicious food. My steak was prepared as ordered. The cobbler with local berries for desert was a winner.
Spendy for what you get.
The food quality was great. Wait staff great and highly knowledgeable. My wife's shirimp salad was great and pleny of food thank goodness because my steak was so small. Probably the most expensive steak in Redmond. Now it was very good but at that price I will go there again when I am in a salad mood.
Not many choices in Redmond Oregon
We are summer residents in Redmond. The restaurant choices are few and unremarkable. Bend, which is only 30 minutes away, has excellent restaurants as well as top quality grocery stores like Newport Market and Whole Foods and Prime Cuts is a fabulous butcher shop if you want to buy a few entrees when you go there to dine. At brick house my wife had a caesar salad that was OK and a sea food sampler appetizer that was good. I had some clam chowder that was not as good as previous years and a shrimp salad which was bay shrimp rather than the prawns on the menu (early dinner) . The steaks are way overpriced, $40+ for a good one. The service was fine, we knew the waitress from our occasional earlier visits (one or two a year) This restaurant is way overpriced for the quality of food, especially considering it is in a "cow town" of 27,000 people. There is better food for a much more reasonable price, even in Redmond.
Perfect as always
We save Brickhouse for special occasions as it is quite spendy. That being said, every time we have been to The Brickhouse it has been fabulous. This most recent time was the best service we have ever had. The hostess didn't smile, just sat us down but our waitress was amazing. My husband was stuck on what to order and she suggested a blackened steak and it was amazing! The timing of our food and drinks were perfect, we waited for nothing. We chose the marionberry cobbler for dessert and it did not disappointment. We will be back, wish we had the name of our server she made the night perfect!
A great find in Redmond, Oregon
Celebrating a special event or just having a great night out, this was a special p;lace and the service was outstanding. Food presented with great flourish too.
Unfortunately very disappointed.
Booked for 25th wedding anniversary dinner. Wanted to go all out and was very disappointed. Ordered steak and prawns. My steak had no seasoning and dry. Only given 3 small prawns. Plate was boring with no eye appeal at all. BIG let down!
The fish preparation was fair at best. Basically a decent piece of fish was ruined by cooking it in a salty caper sauce. A simple grilled version would have been better. Also very small portion of mashed potatoes accompanied the dish. The appetizers were equally poor. The Carpaccio was inedible and did not resemble the correct way to prepare this dish. (Shaved parmesan???) The service was somewhat rushed and the restaurant was noisy. Although pleasant and friendly it's apparent the staff has little experience working in a high end restaurant. The prices are way too high for the quality of food preparation and level of service. Charging high prices doesn't mean you are a high end restaurant. Management needs to visit some good restaurants in New York or Los Angeles to see how it's done, or even a visit to their Bend location which handled the same dishes considerably better would be helpful.
We were visiting Redmond and had never been to the restaurant before; what a great surprise. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Service exceptionally attentive and a wonderful overall experience. We will definitely go back to The Brickhouse the next time we pass through the area as well as recommend it to friends.

Service was top notch, Leslie, LJ and Gary as well as the rest of the staff are always a pleasure to dine with. Drinks are wonderful and the food has always been exceptional. Great crew!!
The steak was absolutely superb as well as the iceberg wedge salad. Topped it off with a King's Estate Pinot Noir which made the dinner sublime. Great, friendly service too!
My wife and I beleive that The Brickhouse is the best restaurant in Redmond for that special occasion. The food is always excellent, although we usually end up getting a steak and their crab cakes. Last Saturday, we tried their Bananas Foster for dessert, and it was better than we could have imagined.
Awesome food and people!
We have been to the Brickhouse many times over the last year or so and have yet to have one bad experience. The food it always excellent and the people are very attentive to your needs. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area to give them a try.
Indulgent,,, but, tasty
The Brickhouse Restaurant is a vibrant, indulgent, but, a much needed dining establishment in downtown Redmond. Their friendly employees, were attentive to our needs and had credence towards our inquiries regarding items on the bountiful menu. Prices were... stiff, but, food was tasty and filling.
Service was perfect, food was amazing!! Best Birthday Dinner Ever... Thank you very much, we will return soon..
Definitely coming back.
Not only is this a hot spot, outstanding food! We had a Filet and a New York Steak, delicious. I've really missed dinning out like this, can't wait to come back and try some other dishes.
