Nearly 2 grateful decades later the Chef & Owner Joey Campanaro humbly Introduces Little owl's, the Chef's Room, our newest twin dining room, just 1 door down Bedford street, in the Friends Building at Bedford and Grove, accepting reservations for Lunch, Brunch, Dinner and Private Dining. Along with Lisa Komara's expertly chosen wine list, we offer bold-flavored, Seasonal-Mediterranean American cuisine with friendly, professional service. We accept reservations for parties of up to 6 guests, in our cozy dining rooms in the storied West Village. We're a corner gem with a big pork chop and an even bigger heart— serving with love since 2006. From bridal showers, to product launches, you can book fully private, affordable, lunch meetings, dinner parties and brunch events in the Chef's room-up to 24 people. Not all tables are reserved so walk ins are encouraged. To reserve the bar, the best seats in town, please contact the restaurant.

                                          Came in to have a refreshing lemonade during the heat wave and Rassiell was an amazing server!!!! Amazing conversation and I will definitely be back for the food. It looked amazing!!!!

                                          From our initial greeting to the cozy space, to the wonderful (and creative) menu options, we felt so relaxed and welcomed. Food was delicious (we were there for brunch and had chilaquiles and cheesy grits, which were both perfectly seasoned). Good vegetarian options. Nice staff and service was seamless. Really a gem.

                                          Our favorite place in our neighborhood or in the city period. We love coming here for every special occasion birthday anniversary or just a special dinner with friends. The food is outstanding the staff is always accommodating and the new atmosphere is simple yet perfect. Always a pleasure to be there.

                                          I don’t believe that I have seen this type of service in decades… It’s because you never feel like you’re in a restaurant, rather you at home! It’s a restaurant that represents a long gone dining experience. The menu consists of creative dishes made with the freshest ingredients… I had the softshell crab Fra Diavolo and there was not a drop left on the plate (FYI, my great uncle, Frank Vincenti, owned the Red Devil restaurant in Manhattan in the 1940s 50s and 60s. His family created the recipe for lobster fra Diavolo and I consider myself the “El Exigente” of this dish! It was absolutely incredible here! Be sure to thank the chefs and kitchen staff - they are wonderfully talented!)

                                          The service was extremely flexible and attentive for our large party of 10 - between losing 1 person at the last minute and coming from a graduation that was making us later than our reservation, we tested the bounds of how they might reasonably treat us and yet they were lovely, kind, flexible and attentive. We went from worrying about being late to feeling like we were in the perfect spot to celebrate the graduation that we were there to celebrate- a place we’ve gone before for delicious food and now were at to celebrate a very special and personal family event. The food was delicious as always and the service was wonderful and we felt like we were at home.
