My husband and I have dined many times at Seasons bar. It has always been an enjoyable experience due to the old fashioned being prepared perfectly. Last night we made reservations to sit at a table because our 18 year old daughter was joining us to celebrate my husbands birthday. When checking in I informed the host that it was my husbands birthday and if they could do something. He said absolutely. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't have to say something to the waitress in front of him and the host said "Absolutely not, we will take care of it, we do a very nice birthday presentation" Perfect! We sit to eat, the food was subpar.( not as it usually is) my steak was rare (supposed to be mid rare) and it was cold. My daughters pork was WAY over peppered and had to drink 3 glasses of water to stomach it. When we were finished I was expecting the birthday presentation, instead, we got a plateful of desserts to choose from. No birthday celebration what so ever. This was a huge disappointment and we will unfortunately not be dining with Seasons again.

It has always been a "special" place for my family and me. Great get together location for friends from out of town. Food quality consistently excellent with interesting choices for every taste palette. High on my list.

Great Restaurant for Dinner and Special Occasions

vip

We always have had a good meal at Seasons 52. This time we came for a birthday celebration. We were greeted with a rose and a birthday wish on the table, complementary Champagne and dessert. The staff made the dinner very special and the food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was extremely attentive and informative. We will definitely return for a nice dinner or another special occasion.

The food and service are always great! Staff is friendly and prompt, presentation is phenomenal. We love to go with the Chef's suggestions. Only downside ia the wait - even with reservations it can be significant. We had 7:45 reservations for 2, we arrived at 7:25 knowing we were early but we weren't seated until 8:10. We probably should have just eaten at the bar. The food and service are the same there.

Very Nice Restaurant

Dined on April 16, 2016

The food and service were excellent. It was a vey busy evening when we were there. We were seated in one of the group sections that wasn't as nice as the regular restaurant area. We felt somewhat crammed in and like we were stuck in a corner.

The atmosphere was beautiful. Perfect for either a date (although quite noisy) or a group Dinner. We started with the steak and blue cheese flatbread and it was worth every dollar (10). It was quite large and filling so keep that in mind with what you're planning on ordering. My husband had the rack of lamb. It was cooked to perfection. I had the pork tenderloin and it was over cooked but still tasty. We shared one of the tiny desserts and it was delicious! The service was impeccable.

Service should have been better.

Dined on April 10, 2016

We have been to Seasons 52 for special occasions and it was always superb, however we went for a birthday celebration and had only 1 server. There were 14 of us. The kids were well taken care of but the adults food was slow-- our reservation was for 8:30, got served about 9:30. The kids were tired, couldn't get reservations for an earlier time. One of the meals ordered was incorrect, drinks were slow to be refilled. Server honestly did the best she could but had other tables and was stretched thin. A helper for her would have been nice. We will return because we really like the food, however, this night was a real disappointment.

Dined on April 7, 2016

Server took our coupon which was sent to us via email. Server "forgot" to deduct the coupon. Later when our dining partners went back to see a manager, the manager was not such an easy person to deal with. We will be reluctant to return as we feel the coupon was to serve spur pose other than to take advantage of us. Season's 52 tainted our anniversary evening by being either forgetful or plain dishonest.

One of My Favorites

Dined on April 2, 2016

There are no Seasons 52 restaurants where I live. I was first introduced to the I-drive Orlando restaurant about a year ago while visiting family, and really loved it. Since then, a visit has been on my must-do list whenever we are in Florida. I love the concept and the food is always very good. We have vegetarians and special diet folks in our family and I knew that Seasons 52 would be great for them too. Unfortunately our family member moved to a location where the I-drive location became inconvenient. So I was thrilled to find that there was a location in Altamonte Springs. The ambience is not as nice as the Orlando restaurant (because of the lake view) but the food and the service were still great. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to add a few totally vegan items to the menu. Will keep this restaurant on the list of favorites.

Easter dinner

Dined on March 27, 2016

We had reservations for 4:45. It was packed we got our food in a decent time and it was tasty. The bad thing was that once we were done we waited for 20 minutes for our check. We had 2 young children with us so that was annoying. The room we were in was also very cold and dark. It was an OK experience, but when you factor in the cost of $75 for 2 adults and 2 children it wasn't worth it.

I was with my friend and her 93 yr old mother. It was a great afternoon meal and she loved the food. We shared a beet salad and a flatbread and went on to have an entree. The salmon on the cedar plank and the pork tenderloin were both delicious. Very comfortable and pleasant ambiance.

Easter Brunch

Dined on March 27, 2016

Great time with the family, but was extremely disappointed regarding Easter Brunch. I had called to confirm our BRUNCH reservation at 2pm prior to Easter, and then upon being seated was told by the server that Brunch ended at 1pm. No where in any of the marketing emails I received nor did the hostess correct me on the times for Brunch.

I've been to Seasons 52 several times and each time the food was great. However, the last 2 times that I went there, we had to wait about a half hour each time, even though we had reservations. I'm not sure if they're overbooking or what, but they need to fix that problem. All of the other restaurants that we visit seem to have part figured out. Food is great, service is great - wait time needs to be improved.

Service Outside Horrible!

Dined on March 20, 2016

The food is excellent! The only issue about the experience is if you eat out on the patio. I have dinned at this restaurant 3 times and 2 of the 3 I was seated outside by choice. You will be forgotten if you sit outside. The dining experience took twice as long as it should have and it was annoying to have to go into the restaurant to ask for things. It was surprising as this type of establishment prides itself on catering to the customer.

We are long time visitor of seasons but think they need to improve lunch menu. Would like to see more bread choices, bread service with entrees, salads and more lunch selections. Food is good , but would Like to see combo portions salad and soup or salad 1/2 flat bread portion , 1/2 sandwich and soup or salad. Be great additions to current menu. Many of portions too big or too expensive if you want several items.

Dined on March 12, 2016

Our initial impression of the restaurant was a little shaky as we were seated and left alone for about 10-15 minutes with no water, candle unlit, no one approaching. This was more than made up for by our waitress and I wish I could remember her name- she is from Queens. She was excellent in all ways and we had a very enjoyable meal with good food and wine.

Dined on March 6, 2016

While I've been to seasons 52 several times before and definitely enjoy that, I was somewhat apprehensive about bringing my five-year-old granddaughter, even though she is a very adventurous diner . I was so impressed with how well it went. Our server was friendly and patient with her. All the food we ordered was delicious. She loved her little desserts and just was very pleased . I had the short ribs; my husband had the pork; everything was delicious!

Starters were great but main course was lack luster and just ok. Service was great but made a reservation and was seated in the bar area at walk up tables. I prefer to sit in the dining room as my husband and I come in usually to celebrate and we stuck with the happy hour rush of people getting bar drinks when out for a romantic evening.

Darden gem, hope they expand this brand to other areas of the country. Love the seasonal menu design, and the varying types of food. The rack of lamb was cooked to perfection, and was a great value for the generous portion. This was a return visit while vacationing in Florida. We will look for other Seasons 52 wherever we travel.

Unusual behavior for Seasons

Dined on February 20, 2016

My daughter and I went to Seasons last weekend for dinner. I had made reservation two weeks prior, which we were glad about once we saw the crowd and wait time. We gave our names and were told to wait while they set up. There were @ 8 other people there at that time. An elderly couple came in after us, gave their names and told the hostess they had a reservation. She told them to wait while they were set up. The man, not understanding the wait, nicely stated to her that they had a reservation. She snapped back at him "everyone here does and you will just have to wait. She was extremely unprofessional and the man was clearly flustered. They had several others join their party waiting. I don't know if any of them lodged a complaint at the time. I manage over 400 staff and would be embarrassed if any of them addressed a customer in that way. There would also be disciplinary action for that staff member. Our wait was less than 5 minutes and we had a wonderful waiter named Clay who was very informative and attentive . The manager stopped by and gave us roses. I kicked myself later for not talking to him at that time. Except for the hostess, our experience as Seasons was perfect. Wonderful atmosphere, food and the best company.
