Ricardo's Ratings and Reviews
Ok food and service needs improvement
Surprised that the meat on the Fajitas was not tender and they would not make them with Jalepenos. Service was slow and they kept forgetting to bring out more Salsa.
The food and service were both much better than expected. Had the Colorado burrito. Highly recommend that and the queso.
We rented a vacaction house not far from Ricardo's... One of our Uber drivers highly recommended Ricardo's... We stopped in for dinner on our last night in Vegas, and deeply regretted not going there earlier... The food was completely satisfying!
Awesome away from the strip Mexican!
Food was excellent as was the margarita's! Service was prompt, professional and very friendly staff! Definitely will return on my next trip to Las Vegas!!
Ricardos maintains excellence
My family has been enjoying Ricardos for the past 25 years! Whether for lunch, dinner or special celebration, Ricardos never disappoints. The food is the best Mexican food in Las Vegas! Nowhere can one find better margaritas or service! I am a devoted fan!
I was in Las Vegas for two days, met up with some relatives for dinner. They suggested Ricardo's. I'm from California and I've lived in New Mexico, so I have had really good Mexican food. The service at Ricardo's was very good and the margaritas were very good also, but the dinner plates were just average at best. I had the enchiladas suizas and my entrée was served at room temperature. Since my guests had suggested this restaurant, I didn't want to embarrass them by sending my dinner back, so I just ate about half of it. I've had much better food at chains like El Torito, so I think they need to work on the food if they'd like to be considered a good Mexican restaurant.

Once our food was delivered, our waiter ignored us. By the time we were able to get his attention, our glasses were all empty including our water glasses. We had to eat about half our meal with nothing to drink.
I have been dining at Ricardo's for years.
This Mexican restaurant is always delicious. The food is authentic and the service is outstanding.

Our server couldn't have cared less about us. We have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. Went for our 24th anniversary as we read good reviews. We should have just stayed at our hotel and had dinner there. Our salad looked like an after thought. I was embarrassed taking my wife here for a special night out.
Wonderful food and service - as always! Love this place

Great Mexican food. I wish I lived closer. Great service.
Had reservations for 4:00 pm arrived at 3:50 pm let the hostess know we were there and waiting on one more person. At 3:59 pm we were ready to be seated same hostess said we did know you were here. Then said we have a full house and we had to wait 10 minutes and was placed in a very noisy part of the place. Very disappoint in our dinning experience. Doubt if I would recommend this place
Love The Buffet!!!!
What a wonderful find, the brunch buffet (including steak or chicken fajitas!) that they serve daily for less than $20 including drink is so great! We will be back!
Nice Afternoon Meal. Highly recommend.
We have gone to Ricardo's for over 20 years. They always do a good job with their food and the service was very good.

Long time Vegas favorite
Ricardo's provides an extensive, authentic Mexican menu in a great atmosphere. The staff enjoy pleasing the diners, the food is hot and delicious and the price is very reasonable. The shrimp and lobster enchilada special was mostly lobster and had just the right amount of spiciness. Mexican cerveza on tap provided a great enhancement. Close your eyes and you will think you are dining in one of the great restaurants in Mexico City.
What happened to this place?
With out a doubt the worst Mexican food I have ever tasted. I used to eat at Ricardo's exclusively but as the city grew, so did the options. I was in the mood for Ricardo's or what I remembered Ricardo's to be and I got hoodwinked! From the absolutely brutal reception at the entrance to the wonderfully aggressive server I had.....to the most consistently inedible food ever, Ricardo's is to be avoided at all costs!
We have always had good experiences at this restaurant. The menu is varied, and the service was great. The food was fresh, and we only have good things to say. Our dinner was tasty and terrific, and we look forward to our next visit.
Easy to reach by public bus from the strip
I took the public bus here and got off right in front of the restaurant. The food was much cheaper and fresher than any Mexican restaurant that I had eaten at on the strip. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive. The lobster in my lobster tacos was actual lobster meat and the portion was of decent size.
Average Mexican in a Festive Locale
Mexican food is so heavenly when prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic recipes, but it's so hard to find a place with flair. Unfortunately, Ricardo's fails and simply delivers average, cheese-smattered, often tasteless dishes. It was apparent with the watery and passionless salsas that there lie little hope in anything above mediocrity, and that was absolutely the case. The atmosphere is nice; the place is huge. But the service was woefully slow and methodical (except by the fantastic host Manny! What a gem he is.) Plus, it's incredibly overpriced given the low quality ingredients. You can do so much better for Mexican in Vegas.

First time to Ricardo's. Loved the food. Best Mexican food in Vegas. We are returning again next week with more friends.
Great Food & Salsa
We had 10 people during our visit . The food was very good, Service was wonderful. Never a dry glass. Would reccomend and visit again.

Pretty standard. Oversized portions. Oh yeah, and my SO told me she was leaving, so that happened.
Will definitely return.
We celebrated my son's 21st birthday at the Ricardo's that used to be at the MGM Hotel and Casino. That was 13 years ago. This is a different location but the food and service are just as good now as it was then. You won't be disappointed.
Sat down for drinks, an appetizer, and entrees. The service was top notch & the food was fantastic. I took the advice of another reviewer who suggested the mango margarita - wow, refreshing & delicious! Atop leaving a carafe of iced-tea at our table (bonus points!!..cuz we drink A LOT of iced-tea) everything we ordered was perfect; no complaints. We've lived in Vegas nearly 10 yrs but I myself had never visited Ricardo's till last week. The locals love this place and I can certainly see why. Check 'em out .....they're open 24-hrs!
Food was absolutely delicious and the server made the experience even better. Everything was made fresh to order and arrived at exactly the right temperature. The mango margarita was just as good as it should be. Can't wait to return.
Another vote for the Best Mexican Restaurant in LV
I am always a little reticent when a business' own website declares it "The best ____ in ____", but in the case of Ricardo's, they are absolutely correct. I enjoyed it all - the ambiance, the food, the service, the whole chimichanga, which is what I ordered. The server was very attentive to my needs without hovering. Also, my drink, a Blue Mexican, was delicious. Go there (corner of Flamingo and Decatur) - NOW!

The only reason I gave the food a fair rating, is because the beans , rice and some sauces were over salted, The enchiladas were so salty we had to send it back and the second plate was just as salty.
Awesome staff even on Christmas Eve
Our waiter was awesome. Even when I had to ask for special treatment for my tamales, guacamole and quesadillas. He went the extra mile to pamper us on our Christmas dinner :)
as alway s SPLENDID
The staff is very accommodating as my wife is severely handicapped. anything she needs appears nearly by magic our favorite item is the Chili Rellano it is nearly DESERT! the chips served with THREE dips from different areas of Mexico is very tasty. the kitchen staff is very accommodating for special requests (one in our party was very allergic to cilantro so they made her dinner without that specific spice) all in all a great experience we try to go out to Ricardo's at least once or twice a month most nearly every time the owners are in site and actively working showing employees and guest alike how much they love what they do and want employees and guests to enjoy Ricardo's s well!
The food is always served fresh and hot. The menu is filled with lots of choices! Our server was very attentive!
Pancho Villas is an amazing server and I will continue to go back
Best Mexican Restaurant in Vegas
I've been a customer of Ricardo's since the early 1980s. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas - locally owned and operated by wonderful, good people.
We made a reservation and still somehow got stuck in the loud, very unromantic, bar seating. The margarita was horrendous and the food was only marginally better. Not impressed with any part of the experience.
Great Mexican food
I looked up a place on yelp & found This restaurant to be out of the strip so I tried it out. I made a reservation thru open table but it seemed like the front lady didn't care :( I enjoy the chips & salsa the grilled halibut was delicious. I had the chile relleno it was good. I was sad bc I didn't get a dessert for my bday so we weren't able to take a pic
Over 48 years of going to Mexican restaurants around the world and comparing them has finally lead me to this one. I took my wife there after she arrived on a flight from California for our Anniversary Dinner. I was so very pleased with the entire experience. I believe what impressed me the most was the genuine friendly service. I am telling everyone I do business with to go and try out this wonderful place. The food was the finest. Thank you very much! Five stars for Mexican Food
The food and the variety are excellent. I rated this five stars for Mexican food, not to be confused with five stars for Fine Dining. We drove all the way over there from Aliante because my 85 year old father will only eat ground beef enchiladas. They have machaca, chicken, cheese and shredded beef enchiladas also.
Good food at reasonable prices
There's not a lot to say here. We liked Ricardo's. It is a typical upper end Mexican restaurtant. All the dishes were prepared as expected and the guacamole was outstanding. The food was served quickly, hot and to perfection. A huge tequila list, so if you have a favorite or are interested in trying a new one, it is likely for sale at Ricardo's. The food was good and there are many dishes on the menu not found in the normal Mexican restaurant. I felt it was a great value - great drinks and everything else that goes with it.
A refreshing break from the strip
Ricardo's just hit the spot for us and is well worth the short drive or cost of a taxi to get their. Their service was exemplary, the food was fresh, clean on the palate and simply delicious.
