   Amazing food. Amazing service. I’ve been waiting and waiting to try RPM Italian ever since seeing it come to life on Giuliana and Bill back in the day. It did not let me down. Celebrating my mom’s birthday and their attention to detail and kindness with this made it even better. I’ll be back!!

   Disappointing. We’ve been before and loved it. The service was mediocre. Sat with dirty dishes on the table for a long time until we saw the manager call to have them removed. Everything we ordered was ok. Short of the artichoke appetizers, which were great, the rest of the food was nondescript and mediocre. I was sorry that our memory of a great dining experience was completely different this time. It was a costly mediocre meal.

   This was our forth time at RPM Italian. The first three times were perfect all the way around. This time we went with our four kids to celebrate three high school and one college graduation. The food was very good as usual but our server was poor. Had to beg for soda refills, no recognition of the celebration (we had to ask at the front for the little ice cream cones to be brought to us since they were not brought by the server), felt as though he was doing us a favor by serving us. All in all very disappointing experience.

   We went for the chianti dinner special event which consisted of 5 courses paired with wines selected by the sommelier. The five courses were buratta, venison carpaccio, mushroom ravioli, porterhouse steak (cut in pieces), and biscotti. I loved the buratta and mushroom ravioli. The mushroom ravioli had wonderful umami flavor. I do not like venison normally, so did not like the venison carpacio. I did not like the sauce on the steak and the steak was chewy. The biscotti was hard. We were also celebrating a birthday. My friend ordered a Baked Alaska in advance (which they have at RPM Steak), but was informed during the meal that they did not have Baked Alaska and instead gave us spumoni. Staff was fantastic. Constantly filling up our waters and wine glasses. And we were able to have a conversation with the sommelier.

   RPM Italian is touted as one of the best Italian restaurants in the city and it did not disappoint. We went to happy hour at the bar, which was a great way to start the evening. We shared the focaccia, carbonara, chicken vesuvio, and the brussel sprouts, which were all excellent. RPM is perfect for a nice dinner with an approachable menu and lots of options.

    Amazing experience. Valet was so easy! Did not have to deal with the hassle of parking and it was only $20! Service was fantastic. They wished my boyfriend a happy birthday several times before we even sat down. (I had selected that it was a birthday when making the reservation, then they reached out to me asking for details). Our menus were CUSTOM! They had printed on the top “Happy Birthday (boyfriend’s name)”. It was such a nice touch and really showed that they care. The service was phenomenal. Server was so nice, and food was absolutely delicious! 10/10 would come here again. They are doing a great job.
