Watching Carolina Panther's

Dined on September 13, 2015

Searched for places to watch NFL live on week 1 Sunday. Had a little concern from some of the reviews we read but.....all in all it's a Sports Bar. Service could have been better and the food was bar quality but the Lite beer was cold. Manager lets us in early too pick out our spot and TV's which was nice. Think the large crowd for opening Sunday caught the management team a little off guard but they called in extra help and by second quarter things were running smoothly. I will return my next trip to San Francisco

Wild times at playa's

Dined on April 4, 2015

Food and drinkswas good. Fun wild time . Place was off the hook during march madness. Agood game on every wall TV. Kids loved the game something for everyone. Only bad part was the issue with our credit card being swiped twice. The G.M.'s James and Matt took care it right away and took care of us too boot. Thanx Matt and James!!! See ya soon.

An energetic place, great for kids!

Dined on March 21, 2015

I picked this place because it was one of only a few restaurants that could accommodate a party of 14 family members, and because it had an arcade for the 3 children we'd have in our party and had chicken tenders on the menu, one kid's favorite. It is a sports-bar atmosphere with many big screens showing the current ballgames. The menu was surprisingly varied and had something for everyone, and the food and service was good. I liked it a lot but the downside is that it's very noisy and hard to have a conversation with your table-mates. If you are hosting a party night for a gaggle of 12 year olds, this is the perfect place. After eating, you can play typical arcade games or can walk around and enjoy the sights of Pier 39, lots of great stores and even a carousel.

Located right on Pier 39

vip
Dined on January 7, 2015

We stopped in near closing time so the place was a little empty. It reminds me of an ESPN Zone with all the arcade. Plenty of TV'S if your looking to see a game while you eat. Your kids will have plenty to do. The food was above standard bar fair and reasonably priced for San Francisco.

Kids were happy

Dined on November 2, 2014

This place was cool for the area and really enjoyed the space and not feeling cramped. The kids really had a good time. The food was fair, they might have some good stuff?? I do see myself and kids returning because overall we had a good time.

vip
Dined on October 26, 2014

Perfect location to watch the Giants World Series game. Beautiful view of Alcatraz, lots of TVs and plenty of games to keep the kids busy. We arrived early and had a party of 2 adults and 7 kids and they took such good care of us on a very busy night. The manager, hostess and waitress were all attentive and couldn't be nicer. Not the place to go if you want a quiet evening, but definitely the place to go if you are a sports fan. Love the Tiki bar!

Food was okay. Service was good. Hostess sat us right away. Typical bar food. A few games to play. View was perfect if you get a window table. You can see Alcatraz. Pretty cool.

They have individual screens at many of the tables. This was great for my wife and I as staff were happy to accommodate us and we were able to watch our out of market game while on vacation.

Not worth it

Dined on May 26, 2014

I've been her before and it wasn't bad, but this experience was pretty bad. Granted long weekend and busy tourst were all crazy, but it's never an excuse for bad service. Food that was ordered was never brought out comp'd because it was there mistake, food that was tasteless and dry, a drink made wrong, but a rude bartender that makes things her own way, but doesn't understand customer service nor provides it.

Just okay

Dined on November 3, 2013

When we made the reservation we thought they served brunch but when we arrived we found out that they didn't. We ordered lunch and found it to be just "okay". The portions were huge and the wait staff was accommodating by tuning in to our individual football game at our tableside TV. Other than that, we'd probably go somewhere else if we're ever in San Fran again.

Nice location but....

Dined on September 15, 2013

I already did my reservation thinking about a Championship Box Fight. I think that is understood that an specialized sport's bar may give the event. I was surprised that there was only a College Football Game. The Food was Ok

Dined on September 15, 2013

We really liked the location and the food the service was great for a very busy restaurant, the arcade games were alittle pricey but other then that the food was awesome need more bbq sauce on the ribs, the fries reminded me of in-n-out fries tasted awesome, the service was outstanding setting was awesome right off the water and get to choose where you can sit was great. I would definitely recommend this place to friends that are looking for a great place to eat

Dined on February 18, 2013

Expensive with small portions. Paid for adult entree and received small fish and chips with a portion of fries fit for a child's plate. Children's menu is a joke. Seems as though there is no pride in creating dishes that are described on the menu. Will not return.

I took my family to celebrate

Dined on November 17, 2012

I took my family to celebrate my sons 10th birthday and the experience was great. It was a Friday night and raining so it wasn't packed. Our waitress Stephanie was awesome. She was the only waitress working and she handled my table of 20 as well as the other customers dining with no problem. She took all of orders correctly, in a timely manner and friendly with ease. We received our food in a timely manner she made sure she continously checked to see if we were ok. Overall I give this restaurant a thumbs up

Long time till the service arrive

Dined on August 11, 2012

the waiters were polite and nice. however, it took long time till they came to our table. i asked the organizer at the door for help, and she said they will be right away with you, but they didn't! i asked again, and she said i can go somewhere else! i had my kids with me and didn't have much time left (they already wasted my lunch time) so i had to wait till they delivered the service.

Not the best service

Dined on August 4, 2012

We watched groups of people leave because they were not being served or even acknowledged in a timely fashion. I felt sorry for the bartender who had to do double duty and serve drinks and take orders however, I kept noticing that he would visit the same table through out the night and finally realized that he knew them. After a while, we noticed that that specific table was getting their drinks faster than anyone else. We waiting a while to be acknowledged and have our food ordered but we were also taking our time so we didn't mind AS much, however, it was unfortunate to see families walk away.
