Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - The Woodlands Ratings and Reviews
Dining in the bar
Very good service and excellent food. The burger was wonderful and cooked to perfection. Service was spot on and very attentive.
Outstanding quality of food and service
Great food and service. Great place for anniversary!
Pork Chop Friday
First time at Perry's in The Woodlands though several times at the Clear Lake location dating back to when you first serving meals as part of the butcher shop. Also a first time for Pork Chop Friday for a Birthday lunch. The pork chop, we both had, lived up to our expectation and reputation in taste and size. It was a real treat. This was a Friday noon time crowd, so the noise level was high and I think our waiter was overwhelmed. He handled everything very well except my tea was never refilled. We will be back

Taking Care of My Girls
We have been to Perry's Steakhouse in The Woodlands 2-3 times before over the last couple of years. Because it is fairly pricey, I usually go only on special occasions and this was another one with my wife and teenage daughter. Historically, I have found the food and service to be excellent. The staff makes a real effort to take care of the customer and this night was no different, which was important to me because it's not about me but it's all about taking care of my girls. I don't recall it being as noisy as it was that night, but maybe because it was a Friday night and the restaurant was full. Other than that and being a little spendy, we really enjoyed ourselves there. I've thought about trying other steakhouses and maybe I will someday, but as long as it keeps working well at Perry's and because we don't go that often, I think it'll be hard to try an unknown.
Long Over due
We had a wonderful time at Perry's celebrating my wife's birthday. In 2006 we had the pleasure of visiting Perry's on Cypresswood and Cutten and fell in love with the atmosphere and professional staff. We moved to The Woodlands and I always wanted to take my wife back there again. It took us awhile to revisit but it was worth the wait. The pork chop was awesome, the spinach salad was delicious and the lobster soup was outstanding, the Poogio Wine was The best ever. I hope to be back soon😋 Btw our waiter was really cool too. I liked his style. He made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. The manager was also very nice.

Frequent customer at Perry's. This is one of the worst service experiences ever. Server seemed inexperienced and disorganized. Were given specials and asked order dinner even before offered a drink. Service was slow and confused even though was not very busy that evening. Always go back but just a bit or cautious about experience from here out
Perry's in The Woodlands
Perry's in the Woodlands is superior to the one on Cypresswood. The food was good but the ribeye was a bit salty for my taste. Others in our party enjoyed the seafood. Service in the bar was very slow even though it was not crowded. Our server did a decent job but he seemed a bit spaced out. I had to make multiple requests for iced tea refills. During the meal the server asked us about a desert that would take 25 minutes to prepare, I told him yes but he did not have the kitchen start preparing the desert until we had finished our meals. The Grand Marnier seemed a bit short on the serving.
Husband's birthday dinner
Because it's a bit pricey, we save going to Perry's for special occasions, but in the past the food & service always live up to the expense... Not this time... On my reservation, I told them it was my husband's birthday - it went unmentioned & unrecognized. I wasn't expecting a sombrero & a loud rendition of "Happy Birthday", but perhaps a candle on the dessert we ordered... No big deal, we had presents & celebrated ourselves. The waiter was pretty innatentive AND when he got part of our order wrong, he had the audacity to argue & say that I had mis-ordered! The warm chocolate cake which we ordered for a "birthday cake" was rock hard & inedible... Dinner for 4 (with NO alcohol) was almost $300!!! At these prices I expect a LOT better. We'll be looking for a new "special occasion" restaurant...
Had a wonderful experience with Hyatt our server.
Food was on point. Our party of 6 enjoyed and went home happy, to return another day. Well kept secret in the Woodlands..
Outstanding, high quality food. Steaks were cooked perfectly, to order. Service was good, not great.
We went for our anniversary and everyone was saying to try the pork chop. I got the pork chop and when it came out it was a little intimating. It is huge, and you will have left overs from it. The waiter sliced the pork chop and explained how to eat each part of it. It is the best pork chop I have ever had. The restaurant was very nice and clean. The wine list was full and the wait staff was fantastic.
Great place to dine
Great food , beautiful decor very romantic service amazing top notch
Four of us Celebrated my birthday. Have dined here twice before. Our food wasn't good. Two ordered pecan snapper there were so many pecans I could not find the fish. Too many large red peppers in cream corn side. Expected much more from a $300 meal.

I normally enjoy the food at Perry's but this time it was not good. The service was great by the way but the food NOT. The Perry's reserve cab was not nearly as good as normal and I tried the new marmalade topping for my cowboy ribeye pretty much ruined the steak. It was horrible and definitely do not recommend it.

Great food as always - scallops appetizer is superb, but on this occasion, service was rather slow. Temperature not consistent re air con and unfortunately we were seated in the coldest area! It was good to warm up outside!
Great Place For a Relaxing Dinner
Service excellent again as was the food. We always look forward to having an evening there when we are in the area

Went for Easter right after church and very disappointed that there wasn't a special brunch menu and not prime rib. The meal was ok but not as good as when they aren't so busy.
Steak was way over cooked
I ordered the 12oz filet cooked to medium. when I got it it looked quite black and the waitress asked me if I wanted to cut into it and see if it was to my liking. I did and it was obvious that it was at least medium well and seared way to much on the outside. I do not complain about food when I am at the restaurant because I don't like sending food back. I have no idea what they would do in the back to my steak before they bring it back. very unsatisfied with this dining experience.

A wonderful experience for the palate and the occasion - a date with my wife. Excellent service!
Wonderful Anniversary Experience
I chose Perry's for the 2nd year in a row for our anniversary celebration. We were not disappointed. They were well prepared for our visit and the food and service were second-to-none. We will be gladly booking again for next year!
Great atmosphere heavy garlic
Loved the piano and the ambiance! Service was excellent. Food was a bit disappointing. It was OK but not great, considering the price. I like garlic, but appetizer, entree and side all had way too much. Chocolate cake dessert was dry. My husband said his steak was great, perhaps that's the best way to go here. Overall, I expected better.

Always a treat....
The food is always yummy and the service is always great....time and time again.
Love the Pork Chops
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Houston. Order the pork chops!!
We love going to Perry's for a nice evening of fine dining. I always enjoy the steaks. The wine and cocktail lists are extensive, you will definitely find something new to try. The staff is very personable and professional. I would recommend this Perry's.
My only negative to say about this location: I called to make the reservation , got an email confirmation . Also got a personal call the day of my reservation BUT when I arrived in was told there was no reservation in my name, another person checked and said same thing. It was not a problem in that there was plenty of open seating , but it made no sense to me. Still doesn't . Food was great, service at table was great.
Great food, terrific ambience but mediocre service
It was our first experience, the atmostfere was great , the food was excellent but unfortunately our waitress was flat, could not hear her very well and she kept on disappearing on us for long period , I even ask the Somelier to bring us a second bottle of flat water because she was not around , same thing when it came time to pay, she left with my credit card and did not return before 15 minutes. Unfortunately she kind of killed it for us Gilles de Beaumont
Do not expect to be able to carry on a conversation among two couples. The noise level is overwhelming and obviously built into the design of the restaurant. I've been to this store over ten times over the years based on quality of food and service, but I won't go back unless I'm alone.

Great experience... Took family to celebrate birthday and was well taken care of
Exceptional food and service. Perry's famous pork chop was the most tender I have had yet. Best lunch experience!
I'm sad to say but I think Perry's is slipping. Ever since the menu change, it seems like the value and quality have suffered. My husband tried the special (8oz filet with truffle butter topped with crab, was how it was described), the crab were the two smallest pieces of crab you have ever seen. It was like a small garnish. I used to get the surf and turf, now they no longer have that item, I made my own with a filet and added the lobster. However it neglects to mention it is only half a lobster tail. It was okay but not to the standard I have come to expect from Perry's. Normally after paying the check I felt like it was worth it, these last few times, I hasn't been.
Awesome sea bass!
Awesome sea bass!
We have been to this restaurant several times and the food is typically good, but not sure the quality is worth the increase in their prices.
All dishes were great except for my ribeye which was overcooked and the charred edges cut my mouth. Everything else was delicioys .
ALWAYS ASK FOR MARY. SHE IS EXCEPTIONAL AND KNOWS THE MENU. MARY IS VERY ATTENTIVE, BUT NOT OVERPOWERING.

The appetizer, asparagus with crab, was excellent. Had the Perry label Cabernet and it was wonderful. The main course was the filet Perry and it was cooked to perfection. We over ordered and requested it to go. The food was taken but never brought back at the end of the meal. For dessert, we shared a table prepared nutty d'angelo. The presentation was average and the caramel sauce was severely overlooked. Perry' s is a special place but for this night, it was closer to average than top rated.
Good eats but make sure your wallet is full.
Perry's steakhouse is a nice restaurant. The ambiance and service are great. However, the price is rather high in relation to the size portion. If price is not an option, this is your place. If portion size is of no consequence then this is your place. As it stands, I plan to visit Perry's Steakhouse to celebrate special events or occasions, because price won't be an option.
