Enterior could use a face lift. Looks tattered which is how it looked in the late eighties early nineties when I last visited this location.
Service was fantastic! Bone-in rib eye was unbelievable! Wife ordered the chicken parm. We took it home and ate the other half for dinner the next night. If you want a good meal, go to The Palm!

They have impeccable and consistent service. The food is wonderful as well. If we are in the area, we try to make the Palm happen.
I'm a fan of The Palm, and frequent several times a year. Love the food, but thinking the restaurants are due a makeover. Internal aesthetics are getting a bit old. I'll keep coming, nevertheless.

We enjoyed the evening at the Palm. However the lobster was only fair and the Dallas location does not compare to the original Palms in NYC or locations in Houston or Denver.
Steady As She Goes
The Dallas Palm continues to provide great food with lots of options. Whether you want steak, lobster, lamb, fish or veal - there is something for everyone. Great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or special occasion. Every time we visit - the service is good, the food is excellent and we leave knowing we will return.
Attention from the staff
Very good attention from the staff, without being invasive. Food is excelent, good quality and nice menu.
Excellent, as always
You will never have a bad meal at the Palm...I take customers there about 3 times per year, for about 9 years, and have never been disappointed.
Professional staff who were very attentive
My group had a wonderful night. The food and atmosphere was excellent. The Palm restaurant really has a professional staff. My wife and I would like to thank you, Jeff, Lauren and team for helping us create a memorable moment and making us feel welcome in your establishment!
Superb as expected
As always, The Palm was fantastic. The place has never let me down. Bone in ribeye was absolutely perfect. Potatoes au gratin were great. Wine was great. Enormous slice of carrot cake was wonderful. I love this place. I was by myself so I ate at the bar. Service was great. It's perfect for a meal alone, drinks and dinner at the bar with a friend or for an anniversary dinner. You can't go wrong here
Not a good experience
We had a reservation at 8:45 pm to have dinner with a key customer. Five minutes after we arrived, we were informed that the kitchen closed at 9:00 pm. You should not take reservation 15 minutes before closing the kitchen! Luckily, the YO Steak House was across the street, there was room for us and the food was great.
Outstanding food, service, and ambiance!
I am a global traveler and have the privilege of unlimited dining options worldwide, know the The Palm Dallas is among my top 3 favorites, has been for many many years!
The quality of the food was very good, but the flavor was off a bit. I have loved the Palm in the past but this time it was not as good as I remembered. The trout tasted like it just had lemon pepper on it. Really expensive for the quality.

Still my favorite place to eat in Dallas!
Not the usual excellent Palm experience
To start, I made the reservation 3 weeks in advance due to a promotion of $59 a person Sunday special, when we arrived 5 minutes ahead of time, they proceeded to trek us back to a back room past the kitchen that had about 8-10 tables in the room with no character sketches on the wall, only paintings. Part of the charm of the Palm is the sketches, and we were long time customers with a 3 week old reservation being seated in a blank room in the back...Next the food. We were told when our waiter arrived and took our drink order, that the promotion menu was $200 per couple and twice as much food as we wanted. We just ordered steaks off the menu, as we were informed that the kitchen couldn't handle anything but the $200 promotion, and the $59 per person menu was off the table (no pun intended). We split a salad that was horrible. The vinigarette dressing was almost sweet and lots of iceberg lettuce to fill. The side we ordered (garlic butter asparagus) was not described as it came deep fried. We sent it back in exchange for creamed spinach which was ok. The steaks were awesome. Now on to the service. We had a drink prior to ordering the meal, and since we were having steaks, we both ordered a glass of merlot to go with the main course. When the meal came, I only had one request, that I needed some extra butter, as we had used it all on the table bread. The request was never brought, we had to ask for the wine after we got the steaks because the waiter had forgotten that as well. I just gave up on the butter. All the previous years I have visited the Palm, the service was top notch with the waiters all dressed in a tux (no more), and we wanted for nothing. The staff would fall all over themselves and we always felt pampered. The way I saw this experience was that we paid a lot of money for a substandard experience. Very disappointed in the Palm, and sadly, probably won't go back...
Loved, loved, loved. Was a bit hesitant about going for the 1st time for Valentine's Day, but was totally impressed!! Food was outta this world, ceasar salad (one of the best I've ever had!), lobster & filet, asparagus fritte. All YUM YUM YUM. Extensive wine list with prices for everyone. Our waiter Tomas, made our evening -- very attentive, informative and helpful!! Ask for him!!!
it is always an occasion when we go to the Palm.
My husband and I claim the Palm as the place we do occasions. We bought our marriage license and came over and ate our first lunch at the Palm together. From then on, we do birthdays, Valentines day, employee thank you parties and just having a splurge on the town! Since we live out of town we have to drive quite a distance to get to our special place but it is always worth it. Your wait staff is always amazing even when it's Valentines and the place is packed. Of course we can't leave out the food. The steaks are amazing and lobster can't be beat...just keep up the good work and we will be back when it's a special occasion or your specials lure us back to your side! Well done everyone in the Palm Dallas.
Too much char on my steak
I recently visited The Palm on Valentine's day. It was an nice restaurant, I ordered Calamari , salad , a ribeye steak, and a lobster . I ordered my steak medium rare but when it arrived it was closer to well done. Lobster was delicious, steak could been sent back to kitchen but I'm not that kind of person and it was not that badjust not what I wanted. Overall it was an OK Valentine's dinner. I would like to go back and try other items on menu.

We showed up for valentines day dinner. When my confirmation call was made the girl told me I could show up about 30 minutes early and the would seat us. I waited until 45 minutes after our reservation time was set to be seated. Then dinner came after almost 45 minutes from the appetizer and my food had to be recooked because it was burnt and unevenly cooked. The service was the redeeming factor or the entire night.
Sat. Valentine Dinner in Conference Room
Well, want to start off by saying that it is one the busiest restaurant weekend and I understand the flexibility to have but this was all in wrong. We didn't get sat on time which was ok and understandable and the bar was awesome. When the we got to a table the toward the back the place was lit up with lights totally different atmosphere then the main dining room. when we sat down the salt and pepper shaker was on my feet. Then, we ordered the 2 for dine meal, When we ordered our server did not ask what temperature we wanted and we had to ask if there is a temperature we can choose. Server said I will bring you some bread. When all around us gotten bread from assisting server but us we asked our server to get some bread after we were done with our salad. Finally our food has arrived with steak and lobster after 47 min later ( busy day understandable) My steak was not cook right and was dry and so did my wife's. She sent hers back where she said no way I will eat MW to W steak and I just ate mine cause we were so hungry. Well, found out that 5 tables around us sent their steak back. One table call the manager and took her outside the room to discuss. After that we were gonna eat our desert but they broke down a table next to us and put a 6 top in the room and was so loud we decided to take the desert home. So did the table next to us. We usually go to Eddie V or Capital grill but wanted to go somewhere else. We ate at San Antonio Palms and one in Florida as well it was Awesome (Granted not Valentine weekend) but we were so disappointed to know that in our own backyard that it was a not bad but horrible. The worst part was leaving the room and coming into the main dining room the ambiance was dim and romantic. We felt like we did something wrong to be put in the back. Overall it was not what we expected. I am sure this is not a normal business but I don't usually write bad about a place but this time it really affected me and my wife.
Excellent food and great atmosphere!! Definitely will return!! A+
Did Not Meet Expectations
We had high expectations given the reputation of the restaurant, unfortunately they did not live up to them. The evening started out ok. We had reservations for 8pm, but had to wait about 15 minutes before being seated. It was a busy night so we gave that a pass. However, our server was extremely informal, took too long to bring our food and drinks and didn't seem as if he was in a good mood. The worst part about our experience was the steak. I asked for Medium well with a thin strip of pink and basically got a bloody steak. It wasn't very well seasoned (if at all) and since it took so long to get it, I didn't want to send it back to be cooked further. On a good note, I will say the fish my wife ordered was pretty good. We most likely will not return due to the poor service and bland food.

I also find the food and atmosphere to be very good and lively. The service was slow on this occasion but I attribute that to it being the Saturday before Valentine's Day.
My wife and I decided to celebrate Valentines on the 13th instead of the 14th. Upon arriving (we had a reservation), we were seated at a table which was in the main flow of traffic and several times servers managed to bump into the back of my chair. Then, when my wife ordered her glass of wine off the menu, the waiter stated he would have to see if they even had it. Although the food itself was good, I think it is very overpriced. When we ordered our dessert with coffee, we were informed they had no coffee!!!! Unbelievable! I have been to many restaurants in my lifetime and this was a first. When the waiter brought the check, we were overcharged. I brought this to the attention of the server and after being gone for a while, he informed us that it would take a bit longer as the "computer was frozen". Upon leaving, we were asked how our dinner was and I asked how in the world a restaurant that claims to be an upscale steak restaurant not have coffee to serve its customers. His only response was "the coffee machine broke". If that is the case, why not run to the local store and pick up a coffee maker to use in the interim?! All in all, not a memorable evening and I doubt we will return.
our Valentines Day experience
I've been eating at the Palm for 32 years so I was highly insulted when our waiter said, "Our 'regulars' would never come here on Valentines Day weekend." This was his way of apologizing for his slow service- too many amateurs in the restaurant. He also complained how busy he was. I counted 9 empty tables around us. It was 6:00 PM by the way. We were pushed to buy the pre-set Valentines menu because it would guarantee we'd spend at least $100 per person. I guess they were afraid us "amateurs" would spend enough if left on our own. No doubt it was a great deal - lot of value for the $100. But, I'm sorry, I like to be in more control of my dining experience. They only gave us one menu (assuming I guess we'd taken their hard cue to order the special $100 menu). I had to get up and go to the hostess stand to ask for second menu. Instead of handing me the menu I asked for, they "pitched" me on the special Valentines menu. The waiter made no attempt to hide his contempt when we didn't order wine or appetizers. What a fool because I proceeded to order expensive craft beers, dessert, and expensive cognac after dinner. Our bill came to $198. While I appreciate dealing with all those 2-tops for Valentines day can't be fun, do you really need to rent little round folding tables and cram them into the dining room? It totally ruined the atmosphere. Whenever a business places their own needs above the customer experience, the business always loses. It ended well though because I promised the waiter I would never bother him again by attempting to dine at The Palm.
Special Night at the Palm - Dallas
We had the chance to have a wonderful dinner at the Palm - Dallas. While we have eaten there many times over the years, this place never stops amazing me. Terrific food and wonderful service combine to make a very special night for us. My wife and I asked for the Palm Salad (no longer on the menu) and without a moment of hesitation - they said they would be glad to make it for us. The steak was a true gem - and it seems that I love all of the sides. If you ever need a special night out - or you find yourself in Dallas and you want the place to close that "Big Deal" - make it over to the Palm. They will make you feel as if you eat there every night.
Food was Awsome
I must say my stake was the bomb.. It was soooo tender, I thought I was eating cotton candy. lol
I did check no above because we have been to the Palm many times and food is excellent. However this visit the service was terribly slow. There was a special menu for Valentines that staff was unaware of. We did get our special food after inquiry. Our waiter was nice and competent but for the amount of people at the restaurant, service was really, really poor. I am thinking they were understaffed and/or our waiter had too many tables seated at one time. Thanks!
We love the food! Lobster is huge and very tasty. Waiter is great he is very funny. I will go back again.
The wait staff was even more amazing than the food! Yes is pricy but worth the $$, but again the level of service was best ever! The food was 5 star plus plus!
LOVE The Palm, Dallas!
For the past few years a good college friend and I have chosen to dine at The Palm just before we head to American Airlines Arena to see the Mavs play our beloved Boston Celtics. We originally chose The Palm because of its location near the arena. We keep coming back for the terrific food and outstanding service. This year we found the food to be outstanding (as usual) and the service impeccable. Our waiter, Tomas, had a terrific sense of humor and a great attitude. All in all, another special night at The Palm!

Dinner at The Palm
My wife and I love the steaks and veal dishes along with the caesar salad and the half & half.
Champagne Sitting Alone!
Our Champagne glasses were not filled up after initial pour. We then forgot and felt bad that we left half a bottle unused.

We always enjoy our visits here!! It was a last minute New Years Eve date night! A little miffed that our server didn't know they had fresh oysters! All was good, including theBlue Points, delicious! Petit filet and 3 # lobster! Classic creamed spinach and an order of half n half...oh and the chocolate layer cake was sinful! Happy New Year!
Enjoyed all 400
We were last at the Palm in Mexico City, Mexico about 11 years ago. Our party of 6 enjoyed a quiet evening dinner secluded away from the larger dining area. The food quality was excellent, prime, as expected. Service was perfectly balanced. The server was not stuffy and proper, but friendly and prompt.
